How eager you were to clock out of work showed your entire shift. Your coworkers noticed your lightened mood and smiles and teased you saying that 'your boyfriend must have done something really good, huh?' You didn't give in to their jokes and teasing, just shook your head and went on about your day. But knowing that everyone now assumed you had a boyfriend - and Diluc was going to be your boyfriend - made your day that much better. It made your shift go by so fast that when your phone vibrated in your back pocket while you were folding clothes and you realized it was Diluc, you gasped, looked at the time, and gasped even louder.

You hurriedly ran behind a clothing display to answer it in hushed tones. "Diluc! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize what time it was!"

"It's okay," he chuckled, "I'm just calling to let you know I'm here. Take your time." Gosh, hearing his voice after 8 hours felt so good. "I'll be right out. Maybe about 5 more minutes?" "It's okay, Lumi," he reiterated, "I'll be waiting for you out here, don't worry." "Okay," you blushed, scanning your surroundings again to make sure none of your superiors were around. "I'll be out soon. Bye!" "Alright. See you."

You made a beeline for the break room while hoping that none of the customers stopped you for your help. Once inside, you were relieved to know that none of your coworkers were taking their break, so they wouldn't stop you to talk either. Everything was going smoothly - just perfect. You got your small bag of belongings out of your locker, clocked out, and hurriedly left your job. When you stepped outside into the humid evening your eyes instantly landed on Diluc's car which was parked directly in front of the store with its hazard lights on. You chuckled to yourself as you walked towards it, but slowed down when a head of read hair appeared from the driver's side since he'd opened his door to get out.

"Hey, working woman," he walked around the car and opened the door for you, "ready to end your day on a relaxing note?"

The smile that he was graced with made goosebumps appear on his arms. You looked so happy. Maybe it was a normal smile and maybe he was just imagining things, sure. But the glow on your face... had he ever seen you like this before? Your hair was tied up with stray flyaways near your ears, and your shirt that was supposed to be tucked in was only half tucked, and for some reason your top lip was shiny with lipgloss but the bottom wasn't, yet you still were beautiful to him. "With you, yes." You responded. Gods, it was taking everything in him to not just ask you to be his girlfriend right then and there. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable by rushing or being too pushy. Besides, he bad all night to pop the question.

When he entered the car and began driving you sighed heavily. "Tired?" He inquired. "A little. But really I'm just glad to be off," you looked at him, "so we can hang out together." "I was thinking about movies to watch and I know the perfect series." "Series?" You grinned. "Do I know it?"

"Know it? You love it." He corrected. Your jaw slowly dropped, "The Transformers series?" "Yep." "Oh my god!" You laughed and threw your head back before covering your mouth with your hand. "Diluc! We don't have to watch Transformers just because I like it. I wanna watch what you wanna watch too." "I like Transformers." He shrugged uncaringly. "Yeah, but you don't love it. What's a movie you love?"

"There aren't a lot of movies I love but I can get behind animated movies." "Oooh, me too! Hmm... we can watch some Pokemon movies?" You suggested. Diluc chuckled lowly but nodded his head in agreement. "We could. We could also watch Barbie movies. I don't care what anyone says, those are some good ass movies." "Right?!" You exclaimed, "Okay, we can watch one of each. I hope I can make it through all of them." "Me too." He seconded.

You got yourself a bit more comfortable, untucking your shirt and setting your bag down on the floor between your feet. "So, how was your day?" You asked him. Just as he was about to answer you his phone rang. "Woops." You whispered, and he grinned apologetically before answering. "Ms. Adelinde? Good morning..."
