You stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom looking yourself over while Beidou moaned and groaned inside the toilet stall, peeing at the same time. She sobbed, "It should not feel this good to pee."

"It should after you've done nothing but drank for hours." You chuckled. The door swung open and you stopped looking at your nails in favor of watching Ningguang storm in, throwing her clutch on the counter and immediately going to wash her hands. Sensing something was wrong, you moved over and gently placed a hand on Ningguang's lower back. "Ning... what's wrong?"

Red eyes met yours in the mirror that were filled with hurt and anger. When she turned the tap off she didn't even bother to reach for a towel to dry her hands. Instead, she stared at you in the mirror and almost instantly began crying. "Ningguang! What's wrong?!" You gasped, turning your friend around so you could look at her directly, and that was when her eyes finally slipped shut as her hands came up to cover her face. Seeing her in pain made your own chest hurt and you swiftly pulled her into a hug, patting her head and rubbing her back as the tallest cried into your shoulder. "Hey! What's going o- oh fuck, fucking tissue - Ning?! Lumine, what's wrong?" Beidou asked loudly.

Hearing the obvious distress in both her friends' voices, Ningguang steeled herself to stop crying so she could speak. "I... I haven't told you guys but... Albedo and I are... talking. Or, were talking. I don't know!" She exclaimed, waving her hand dismissively. "What?!" Beidou shrieked. "Beidou!" You scolded, and the other apologized just as she had flushed the toilet. She came out and practically ran to wash her hands. "Okay okay. You and Al are or were talking. What's wrong? Do we need to fight him?"

"No," Ningguang sighed hopelessly and shook her head, letting you wipe those fresh tears from her cheeks. "I just... at the party I... We were making out and I just finally asked Albedo if he wanted to be more exclusive or whatever because we've been talking for some months now and I was starting to really like him and thought he felt the same and -" she took a deep breath and a fresh round of tears came on. You grabbed some tissue for her while Beidou came over to put a comforting arm around her. "And then he said he wasn't really trying for that and that he... he thought we were on the same page with just seeing each other and fucking and leaving it at that. And I said well okay whatever," Ningguang took in a shaky breath, "But... we've been on so many dates and shared so much about ourselves and he even fucking offered to come back home with me on break to help my mom organize her house renovations and stuff... and I like him and - and at the party we were together most of the time - Beidou, I'm sure you caught on to me being back and forth between you and him the whole night..." Ningguang tilted her head back and used her fingertips to dab at the corner of her eyes. Now that she had talked so much the tears had subsided.

"Like, what fuckfriend offers to come back home with you and cuddles and pampers you on your period and.... Like, around his other friends on campus he would pull me over and kiss me and stuff, and he even helped me pay my car note once-" "Whaaat?!" Beidou exclaimed, jaw on the floor. "-and I just didn't know he was a fuckboy! I know I'm a fuckgirl but at least I completely act like it to the people I'm fucking! And I just feel so stupid for thinking he actually liked me. But what was I supposed to think after he did all that like a nice person that wants to be with me?!" She looked between her friends, eyes redder than normal and housing more unshed tears. "Am I really that stupid for reading into this entire thing completely wrong?"

"Bitch, no," Beidou scoffed, "I would have thought the same thing! If you just want to fuck someone and leave it at that then that's what you do! He didn't have to do all that extra stuff! But, I think you two actually being friends plays a big part in this too," Beidou frowned and gave Ningguang a side hug. "Maybe he felt like he needed to do that stuff in order to maintain your friendship. Either way, I think any girl would have read into this the same way."
