I walk to my car and drive to Carmel High, the school where my biological mother works and my best friend Jesse goes to school. I make my way into Carmel and ask the receptionist where I could find Shelby's office and Jesse. The lady smiled nicely and told me where I could find Shelby's office and where I could find Jesse. I thanked her and walked to Shelby's office, I didn't see Shelby, I put the letter addressed to her on her desk and made my way to the classroom where the receptionist told me I could find Jesse. I get to the classroom door and knock, I hear somebody say "enter" and I open the door. The teacher asked, "is there anything I can help you with?" I relied with, "May I please borrow Jesse?" The teacher nodded and excused Jesse. Jesse follows me out into the hallway and asks, "what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?" I nod my head and say, "I came here to give you this." "Why are you giving me this?" Jesse asks. "You'll find out why in the letter." I tell him. Then I tell him I love him and and walk away.
