Alexa knew how she had been rejecting owls from the manor. She didn't want to communicate with anyone there.

Not until they could be honest and tell her the truth. But no one would. No one was telling her anything.

All she wanted was the truth. And it was awkward. She knew how Draco had been telling her that Narcissa was hurt by how she was acting. But she didn't care.

She didn't care about anything. It was like someone had switched her. She felt like she had no idea who she was anymore.

All she knew was that things were messy. And she didn't know how much more she could cope with.

Morning came so she woke. She looked up as Pansy walked in. "Grace is back. She looks unwell. I don't know what happened at the manor. But she looks like death warmed up," she said.

Alexa got out of bed. She walked down into the common room. She saw her sister. "Gracie. What happened?" She asked as she looked to her.

"You're not my sister," she mumbled.

Alexa frowned. She looked to her. She sat down and took her hand. "What do you mean?" She asked.

"I-I heard mother and uncle Lucius... you're not my sister," she sobbed.

Alexa frowned as she held her close. She sighed. "They're lying. I don't know what they're talking about. I am your sister. I promise."

Grace looked to her. She wiped away her tears. "I'm not meant to be here. I've been removed from Hogwarts."

"What? Why?"

"Cause of how you spoke to Cissy. They don't trust that you won't turn on me. Lucius did this," Grace mumbled. She sighed. "I snuck out when they were in a meeting."

Alexa walked into potions. Draco looked to her. He sighed. "I heard what Grace said. How she's been removed because you're apparently evil now."

Alexa rolled her eyes. She sat down. "Let's get one thing clear. I'm not the one who would hurt her. She is the one thing I will kill for. I don't know who told her that. But I would never hurt her."

Draco looked to her. "What's going on Lex? This isn't you. You've never turned on my mother before. All she's done is care for you. So what's going on?" He asked.

Alexa shrugged. "Maybe I'm just sick and tired of being the good girl. The one who everyone relies on. I'm not doing it anymore," she told him.

"No one has ever seen you as the good girl. Your Bellatrix LeStrange daughter. You're the opposite of good," he said as he smirked.

"Hilarious."

When class was over, Alexa stayed behind. Severus looked to her. "You have another class," he said.

Alexa shrugged. "I thought I'd skip and stay here with you. Look, I know everything isn't the same. But you mean a lot to me."

Severus sighed. "Lucius wrote to me. Your sister has been removed from the school for her own safety. He has manipulated this situation to make it look like you could harm her."

"I would never."

"This is what happens when you lash out at Narcissa. She fought for Grace to stay. It didn't work," Severus told her.

Alexa frowned. She looked to him. "So my sister is being punished. Taken from the only safe place in this fucked up world and placed in danger?"

"Seemingly. They think you're dangerous. Especially with how you have been acting. They think you're becoming mentally unstable. And a witch who is mentally unstable can cause damage."

Alexa shook her head. She sighed and looked to him. "This is insane. I'm not losing it. I'm not unstable. I am just hurt with how I've been lied to my whole life," she told him.

"I understand that. But as you haven't talked about anything to them, they don't understand it," he said.

Alexa was sitting in Severus' chambers. She had lashed out in the common room. Severus looked to her. "You cannot get angry like you have. It's not right. I do not know how much more I can protect you," he said.

"I don't need protection. I don't need this place. My little sister does. She is in danger at the manor. More danger then ever," Alexa said.

Severus looked to her. He sighed. "She is happy. Narcissa is looking after her. She is fine."

"She may be fine. But she's not safe. We know what goes on there. And I'm going to get her away. Even if it kills me," Alexa said.

Severus looked to her and frowned. But could he stop Alexa from putting her own life in danger?
