(Jodi's POV)

Ugh, I can't believe Saylor just turned her big brother down like that. I mean, what kind of little sister does that? I'd never turn down my older brother. If I had one, that is. All I have is my older sister, Stacey.

"You okay?" I asked Caleb softly.

"Yeah," he replied. "I just want her to be happy." He smiled at me. "That's all I've ever wanted."

"Aw," I replied, it was really sweet.

We got back to rehearsal.

We finished up the sing and climbed off the stage. "Great job guys," Caleb said. "Well, I'd better get going. Music to write."

I giggled, then kissed him on the cheek. He smiled at me. I smiled back. We just stared into each other's eyes until...

"Guys, c'mon!" Sun Hi urged, and we left Club Ry Ri.

...... The next day......

"Morning guys!" Corki said excitedly. "It's Monday, time for school! Yes!"

Sun Hi groaned. "Ugh, school, yay," she said sarcastically.

I groaned too. Except not for the same reason as Sun Hi. "Guys," I said, putting my hand up to my head. "I don't feel so good."

"Very funny Jodi," Corki said. "C'mon, we need to get going."

"No, seriously," I replied.

Corki sighed in exasperation. "Fine, hang on," she said.

She walked over to where I was sitting and put her hand up to my forehead. "Well," she said. "You do feel pretty warm. I'll check your temperature."

She put a thermometer in my mouth. It dinged. "100," she muttered. "I'm gonna get the nurse. Sun Hi, stay here with Jodi."

"Yes mother," Sun Hi replied.

Corki rolled her eyes. "Just stay here," she said as she walked through the door.

I groaned. "Hey," Sun Hi said. "Anything I can do?"

"Not really," I replied.

"I know something," Sun Hi said mischievously, and took out her phone.

"Please don't blog me right now," I said.

"I'm not," she replied.

Five minutes later, our door was basically knocked down. "Where's Jodi?" Caleb yelled. "What happened??!"

"I'm sick," I replied.

"Wait, Sun Hi said there was a life or death situation," he said.

I giggled. "Good job," I said to Sun Hi.

She smiled. "I know what makes you feel better," she said. "Now, I'm going to find Corki."

Sun Hi went out the door, and I out my head in Caleb's lap. I coughed. "Sorry you got sick," he said soothingly.

"It's okay," I replied. "I'm just glad you're here."

Corki and Sun Hi entered the room. The nurse was behind them. She took my temperature and did all that junk. "Looks like a bad cold," she said. "You should be fine by tomorrow. In the mean time, you must have a senior to take care of you."

"Seriously?" I asked.

"Yes, seriously," she replied sternly. "And I've assigned you Valerie Graves."

I groaned. Is she trying to make me worse? I thought.

Valerie entered the room. "Oh boy," she muttered.

"Oh boy," I answered back.
