(Saylor's POV)
"Yeah, I just said that," I replied to Jodi.
Jodi looked around the white room. "So what's in here?" she asked.
"Pretty much anything," I replied. "Except humans. For some reason, I can't seem to make a human appear."
"Appear?" Jodi asked. "Like magic?"
"Yeah, sort of," I replied. "Tell me one thing that isn't a human that you really want right now."
"Well, I don't know why, but I'm craving strawberries," she replied.
I held my hand out to Jodi and it was filled with the red berries. "Whoa," she said, taking a berry. "That's cool."
She put the berry in her mouth. "And delicious," she replied.
"You know what I wonder," I told her.
"What?" she asked.
"If we're going to remember any of this when we wake up," I replied. "Could you tell me when you do? I can hear everything you say when you're in my room."
"Okay, I will," I replied. "If I remember to."
I giggled. "Gosh, I miss Caleb," I said. "You're lucky, you aren't stuck her for who knows how long."
"Yeah, I guess," she replied. "But don't forget why I'm here."
