THE BAG OF CHIPS loudly crumpled in Moira's hands with each time she reached into it. She continued to wander the corridors of the large plantation home, a hobby that had developed over the time she had been stuck in the house. And while doing so, she had caught Hayley sitting quite comfortably on the floor of Elijah's bedroom, seemingly invested in a journal that sat in her lap.

"What are you doing?" The girl questioned the werewolf, leaning against the threshold.

Hayley didn't bother to look up from the words written below her. "Reading Elijah's journal." She replied.

Before the girl could begin to scold Hayley for her disrespectful behavior towards the Mikaelsons' property, the familiar accent of Rebekah Mikaelson echoed through the halls. "I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me." The blonde said in disbelief. "You know how I love to set things on fire."

"Was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot?" Klaus rhetorically asked, a smirk adorning his features. "Besides, they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless, pregnant girls who carry my children."

"Oh," Rebekah tutted. "I am so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duty to the women carrying a hybrid bun in their oven."

Moira and Hayley then entered the foyer with the bickering siblings, the werewolf keeping a firm grip on the journal she had been previously reading. "The helpless, pregnant girls would like to know what the plan is."

Klaus turned to the girls. "Well, that depends what plan you mean, love – my plan for global domination or Rebekah's plan to find love in a cruel, cruel world."

Rebekah feigned a sweet smile toward her brother before snatching a paintbrush from the small table beside her and chunking it at him. Before it could embed itself into his face, Klaus used his supernatural reflexes to his advantage, catching the object mere inches away from his cheek.

Rolling her eyes at the siblings' behavior, Hayley released a sigh. "The plan to rescue Elijah." She responded. "You know – the good brother, the one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back."

"In the front," Klaus corrected, as if it justified his actions. "if we're being specific."

"Right, 'cause that totally justifies everything." Moira sarcastically retorted, a false smile painted upon her lips while the hybrid merely rolled his eyes.
