FANTASY. xx. the battle of new orleans ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
EACH TIME THAT MOIRA would even dare to think that they were going to have a day of peace, she was proven significantly wrong. At this point, the girl felt dumb for even thinking such a thing was possible. She was involved with the Mikaelsons for goodness sake – there was no way they'd be able to avoid even the smallest threat within the span of one day. The only time things had settled down within the city of New Orleans was the month following Rebekah's flee to who knew where, and it was just about Moira's favorite portion of her residence in the city. While it was saddening to see the fiesty, blonde Mikaelson leave after all the time they'd had to grow closer with one another, Moira did believe that her presence had only stirred things up ever the more. However, seeing as her life was still being endangered with the young sibling's absence, Moira's theory had been incorrect.
Exhibit 'A' were the assumedly taken werewolves, Jackson and Oliver. The two had gone to run an unspecified errand for Klaus, which had already brought Hayley on edge; despite her attempts to place her trust within the hybrid, the werewolf just couldn't help but wonder whether he shared the same intentions. With the added fact that neither of the boys had bothered to update Hayley within the past twelve hours of their status, it only discomforted the werewolf furthermore. It was evident by her anxious, bothersome, pacing that she was on the verge of a possible panic attack.
Sensing Hayley's ever growing concern, Elijah decided it would be best to notify his brother of their issue. "It appears our wolves have gone astray, brother." He had informed into the cellphone.
"They should've been back hours ago." Hayley asserted.
"We need to find them." Elijah added.
"Well, that might be a bit tricky." Klaus replied from the other end.
Brows furrowed, Moira took a stand beside Elijah in order to ensure her voice was heard. "And why exactly is that?"
"You see, we've located their car on a backroad in the middle of nowhere. I suspect they've been shanghaied."
"And you didn't feel the need to share this information?" The elder brother pondered.
"It was my intention to present you with the problem only after I'd found an appropriate solution."
"Well, do enlighten us."
"I'm closing in on it as we speak. The only person who would be bold enough to snatch my wolf allies is the one who has the most to lose."
