You glanced at Adrien as he pulled you out of the eye shot of the two. You were confused why Adrien didnt let Luka take over. Not that you really wanted be close to Luka right this moment especially with marinette right there too, but you were expecting Adrien to just give you over to him.
"What was that about?" you asked, you didnt really like how the question came out but Adrien just gave you a small smile as he looked back at you.
"I didnt think you would want to be around that right now." Adrien turned to face you all the way, without letting go of your hand. "Are you okay enough to go watch the rest of practice?" his voice was soft. It made you smile a bit.
"Does it look like I've been crying?" you asked. Which made his eyes scan your face before he let out a small "Eh."
"Great." you mumbled to yourself. Making Adrien laugh a bit.
"We can just tell everyone you fell or something and got hurt." Adrien said trying to calm your nerves.
"Yeah im sure I can make some sorta excuse." you mumbled out, but you could already feel the crushing feeling that Marinette would tell alya and make it seem like something it wasnt. But its not like marinette knew the whole story ethier she just seen you and Adrien together. Not that you really should care especially since her and Luka have been talking most of the time that she had been here.
You were pulled out of thought as Adrien started pulling you back to where everyone else. Making sure to slowly let go before coming into eye shot of everyone.
"Just act normal. Your face isnt as red. You should be fine." Adrien whispered as he left your side with a small smile to go talk to Nino.
You just made your way to where Rose was messing with a mic, probably testing it to make sure the sound was all good. When rose made eye contact with you she gave you a smile. She was glad to see you back in eye shot. But her glance quickly went to her girlfriend.
"Shes back!" she basically shouted to Juleka, who was quick to spot you and make her way over to you with a small smile.
"There you are." Juleka voice quietly came out.
"Sorry, my bad." you laughed softly, as you gave her shoulders a little pat. "I promise for the rest of practice ill be by your side or rose's, or at least in eye shot."
Juleka gave you a small nod.
For being one of your best friends you knew you had been kinda distant and you felt bad but with all this howl stuff and this crush things, plus school you kinda been neglecting your friendship with her and rose.
You three talked for a little bit as rose slowly got everything ready, and for the most part your attention was on them. But that stopped when Luka came up to Rose asking her a couple questions. And you couldn't help but see Luka's stare drift to you a couple times as rose was talking. You felt kinda uncomfortable, even if his glances didnt look mean or anything. It just felt odd. Which you didnt want to deal with any longer. You told Rose and Juleka you were gonna go sit down for a moment. You used the excuse that your feet were hurting. But honestly you just wanted to put some distance between you and Luka. Lucky Juleka told you to go sit and she would be there once she was done talking to Rose.
You were quick to go sit down away from Luka but you had another problem.
You could see Marinette talking to Alya, and honestly you were close enough to hear what she was saying or maybe she was just being that loud.
"Her and Adrien were alone in the bathroom what do you think that means?" Marinette asked Alya.
But alya gave a little shrug before answering her.
