You raised your eyebrows at mimi, as she was calling you rude. But Outting someones feeling wouldnt be very nice of you. But you kept quiet and laid there for a little while. But it was short lasted cause Mimi let out a sigh. She could feel there was something off about you lately, and she didnt like it.
"You seem down in the dumps. Wanna go explore paris and see if we can just find something fun to do." mimi suggested. "Honestly maybe just having a look around paris with nothing to worry about will be good for you, and some fresh air might be good too." She didnt know any other way to cheer you up. But maybe being Howl for a little bit without having to worry about fighting anything would helpful. At least thats what she hoped.
You didnt have nothing else to do at the moment, and you were sure Chat was probably done being himself. You wanted to just free up your mind, especially since if you go tomorrow you'd see Luka and that would mess with your head.
Before you could think too much about it, you turned into Howl and started roaming the city on top of buildings. You were jumping from building to building. You felt free and that made you happy. You even got waved at by some fans of yours. Which felt nice to be appreciated. But before you knew it, time had flown by and it was almost time to go back home. But before you did you wanted to watch the sunset. You scanned for the best spot to watch it and before long You found a good spot to sit and enjoy the pretty colors that would be in the sky soon.
You sat there in silence for a few minutes before you heard some noise behind you. It couldnt be a bad guy, Hawkmoth usually only attacks once a day. But whoever it was, It was coming closer and before you knew it Chat was walking up to you. Great Chat just who you didnt want to see.
"I knew it, it was you." His voice was happier then usual. He was now right behind you.
"Yeah, its me." you said plainly, inside you just wanted to run away from him but you didnt. You werent gonna let him being here ruin the chance to see the sunset.
"Where were you earlier?" he asked as he sat down beside you.
He was closer then you wished he was, you could feel your lungs struggling to breathe, you didnt know if it was from the crush or from the fact that you liked him and he likes ladybug.
"I was busy." you manged to get out.
"Busy doing what?" he asked, he was staring at you now.
"Doing my normal life stuff. And also I didn't think you guys needed my help is all, I mean you guys are the perfect team." you laughed slightly. "You dont need me." you probably sounded pathetic. "And if were being honest here Chat. I was avoiding you."
You finally looked at him instead of the sunset that was finally starting. The smile that once was on his face was gone and left with a small frown. Even with that sad look, you couldnt help but admire how the sunset made him even more beautiful.
"Im sorry that was rude." you mumbled with a small smile. "But you asked." you mumbled even quieter. As you once again faced the sunset.
"Im sorry.." was all he could mumble out as he sat there. He didnt know if he should leave or not. He now felt like a bother, but the sad look in your eyes when you looked at him made him wanna stay even just for a moment longer. So he did. He stayed until the sun finally set all the way.
He was the first one to stand up, once he was up he held a hand out to you. You took it with a little sigh.
You two were finally facing each other, You couldnt help but notice how much Chat looked like he wanted to say. But only one thing came out of his mouth.
"The kiss from the other day." was all he could get out before you knew it was time to dip.
"Nope." was all you said before running away. You felt the air between you and Chat hand that was reaching out to stop you. But luckily his hand missed and now you were on your way home. Chat knew there was no point in chasing you but god did every bone in his body want to. He didnt know why. But he just wanted to talk about the kiss. To reject you maybe? But he could tell you already knew he liked Ladybug. But he just felt uneasy about all of this. You were one of his partners that helps fight bad guys. He didn't like the distance that was becoming noticeable between you two.
