You and Nathaniel ended up walking back to class together, you felt calm. You felt happy. Which was a nice but it was quickly changed when you walked by Chloe and she tripped you. When you fell you heard her laugh. God you hated her laugh. It was like nails on a chalk board.
"Watch where you're going loser" She smirked, you sighed slightly as you stood up. You were just gonna let it go cause she wasnt worth it. And you didnt feel like dealing with her but Nathaniel. Wasnt gonna let it go.
"Why would you do that?" He asked with a slight anger tone in his voice.
"Oh you moved on from Marinette to Y/n? So soon. Well why dont you take your girlfriend and go sit down and stop bugging me" She rolled her eyes.
He went to say something else but you just pulled his arm.
"Come on its not worth it." You gave him a smile as you dragged him to his seat and you sat down in yours.
Even when class finally started you could see how tense he still was. You wanted to help him chill out a bit, but while you were thinking of something you were called on.
"Y/n, can you answer the question I just asked" Your teacher asked, your eyes went wide. You werent even listening.
"Sorry I cant" You nervously laughed. You heard Chloe chuckle.
"Oh too busy worrying about your crabby boyfriend over there" She teased as she pointed over at Nathaniel. You were quick to look over at him. He was quick to stand up.
"Im not her boyfriend, we're just friends! Like you would know anything about having true friends" He spitted out. The anger in his voice surprised you, but also made you worry. But when you seen the one thing you wish you didnt. You knew you were right to be worried. A Akuma was quick to go into the pencil he was holding.
"Oh no." You whispered. "Chole go!" You hollered as nathaniel was turning into The Evillustrator. Chole and everyone were quick to get away and run out of the room. Besides you.
"Nathaniel.." You whispered as he turned to you, and walked over to you. He was quick to grab your face.
"Dont worry Y/n. Ill teach her a lesson. You dont gotta protect her. She's the bully. She deserves this and this time around im gonna give her what she deserves. just stay here I dont want you getting hurt somehow." He was quick to let you of your face and turn to leave the classroom. He was gone in a flash. You didnt know what to do. You knew you needed to go help Chole but you couldnt help but just stand there.
"Its not like Ladybug and Chat wont be here soon anyways.." You mumbled softly as you sat down. "But...im Howl. I need to help her" You mumbled quieter.
You stood up slowly and walked to the door, and looked around but luckily for you. Lady bug and Chat were already trying to defeat Nathaniel. You felt kinda glad, you didnt wanna fight him. He was only trying to teach Chole a lesson on bullying people. But you were a hero and that shouldn't be an excuse.
It wasnt long before you were spotted by Ladybug.
"Chat there's a student in here. Go take her somewhere safe!" She yelled, making all three of there eyes on you.
"Dont you dare touch her!" Nathaniel yelled, but Chat was quick to come running over to you, and picked you up in a flash.
"Hold on Princess" He gave you a smile, you were sure he was only trying to make sure you werent freaking out. But what they werent expecting was for Nathaniel to follow you and chat Noir.
You seen the slight panic in his eyes as he jumped faster away from Nathaniel.
"Hold on tighter, this might be a bumpy ride." He spoke but you could barely hear him, but you somehow knew what he said. Your arms held onto him tighter.
"Oh I know you're busy, but just so you know. Its in the pencil he is using" You tried to speak loudly, you weren't sure if he heard you but when he said "Thank you" You knew he did.
"Let's lose him and then take you somewhere safe" He tried to sound as calm as he could but you have heard this tone before, he was nervous. But you just looked at him and gave him a smile. He smiled back, he seemed to slightly relax. Which made you feel slightly happy. But being this close to him kinda broke your heart. You had feeling for this cat and being this close just made your heart race and break at the same time. Not that he would know that. Not that he would ever realize that. Right now you were just a normal person he was trying to save. He couldn't imagine how you were feeling right this second. You werent Howl right this second. If you were you doubt he would let you be this close to him.
Before you knew it, Chat was setting you down in a store and whispering to you.
"Dont worry youll be safe here. It will be over soon." He gave you a big smile before leaving.
You stood there for a moment, your hand went to your chest. You were happy you got that close to him, but the pain that also came with it killed you. You sat down by some windows waiting for the battle to get over. You knew that you could probably turn into howl now if you really wanted to. But on the off chance that Chat comes back you didn't want to make him worry.
It wasnt long before you heard fighting coming closer to the store you were hiding in. You moved out of the way of the windows and tried to watch the fight from where you stood. It wasnt long before you seen ladybug finish the job. Once you seen your friend turn back into his normal self you ran out of the store to go help him.
"nathaniel!" you yelled as you ran over to him, he was quick to look up. He looked a little out of it, but it wasnt long before his face turned into a sad one.
"Im so sorry! I didnt mean t-" You stopped him.
"Its okay, you cant help that you got tooken over by Hawkmoth." You smiled as you helped him to his feet.
"You didnt get hurt right?" He asked as he looked over your body.
"No. Chat got me away before you could like" You stopped for a moment trying to find the best words. "Before you could protect me" You smiled.
He looked reliefed.
"Im glad Chat kept you safe for real"
"Yeah hes a blessing" You mumbled, as you turned to see Chat and Lady bug giving each other a fist bump. Your smile fade at that scene but when you looked back at your friend you forced it back. "Such a blessing.." you mumbled. "Lets get back to school.." You tried to sound cheerful, and it must of worked cause he gave you a smile as you two started walking back.
