Chapter 7 All Is Lost Again

MARCUS... MARCUS!!! WAKE UP MAN WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE yelled razor carrying him on his shoulder running through the fire with outriders' truck in distance while bullets whiz over head as Allen, cory, Chris, and Ozzy shooting back at the group of solders running through the ally. 

razor how's he looking yelled Chris close behind razor as they both run behind cover firing back at the solders with Allen and Ozzy stopping looking back at the cloud of smoke where logan was talking to themselves while razor yelled for them to get back to cover as bullets start to turn for Allen and Ozzy forcing them into running for the others. 

RATATATATATATATATATATATATATAT- ARRRRRRRGHHHH

RUN THEY'RE COMING yelled a random voice coming out of the smoke with 4 others solders frantically running with him as through the smoke the sound of bitters groaning raises through the air. razor runs with the solders and the 4 last survivors through the smoke till the truck is right in front of the 8 with bitters close behind, the solders grab a pair of keys from under the truck and opens the door and yells for razor and the others to get inside hesitantly razor and the others all crowd into the truck looking around in the back space seeing survivors all hiding inside the truck till one of them jumps up yelling to give him the injured man out of desperation the man grabs a suit case full of medical items pulling them out asking for space as he examines the wound grabbing pads and other things to stop the bleeding in Marcuse's eye 

Chris, we got to go get logan we can't leave without him said Allen trying to push his way through till out the back window he sees the hoard of bitters piling against the truck all grunting and growling shoving each other into the truck scratching and pounding on the door.

CRACK CRACK 

two shots echo through the alleyways turning the bitters attention away from the truck as they wonder away back towards the apartments letting Allen sneak out with Chris close behind walking slowly and silently behind the hoard of bitters not even knowing of the 2 following them till, they get close enough to see the massive fire engulfing the side of the apartments and the trucks parked around the entrance with bitters crawling around the entire entrance like ants. 

Allen, I think I know how we could get through the bitters whispered Chris grabbing a bitter pulling it to the ground and stabbing its head then gutting the bitter while quietly pulling its guts out putting them all over his chest and shoulders instructing Allen to do the same as he starts to walk through the hoard with Allen close behind slowly limping mimicking the movement of the bitters trying to find any clues to where logan went 

SLAAAAAAAM!!!!! 

The door to the apartments slammed shut with the sound of screaming voices coming from the door redirecting the hoard to the front entrance doors while Allen and Chris push through the hoard till they reach the steps slowly walking up the steps stopping at the door pulling a gun and knife out of their belt getting ready to bust into the door and run to block off the doors as Allen and Chris look at each other than Allen pulling his gun up to the lock shoots the lock with a loud crack shoving the door open quickly running th

rough but too late to close the door again looking up the stairs seeing a fire they decide to run forwards running through the hallway with bitters close behind till they see Shawns hat with a trail of blood following it to a blocked off hallway, with no other choice the 2 decide to grab a box from the wall and climb through the small hole replacing it while they hold their guns up scanning the hallway finding more blood leading to the end of the hall turning to the right as Allen slowly walks to the corner of the hallway peeking around the corner seeing logan against the wall covered in blood with 3 gunshot wounds 2 in the stomach and one in the arm while outrider holds Shawn by the hair yelling out for Allen to stop peeking and to come out as he pushes Shawn down to the ground shoving his revolver against his head looking at Allen and Chris as they walk out from the hall to the dead end holding their hands in the air while outrider points the revolver at them telling them to throw him their pistols while Shawn blankly stares at them with blood seeping from his hair trying to keep his head up while he sways with outrider hitting him on the head with a revolver knocking him out then throwing him against a door then walking up to the pistols that Allen and Chris threw and sliding them back out of their reach 

so you guys think you can just kill me don't you said outrider resting the barrel of his revolver on Chrises forehead while Allen starts to give outrider a death stare slowly walking up to him and getting face to face with him looking his white and red mask pulling his helmet off unleashing his long black hair with his sharp jawline missing his left eye and scars covering his face with blood coming out of his mouth while he starts smiling with a phsyco look across his face  

so that's what you look like whispered Allen. 

yea now you get to see the man who's going to kill you... Your friend... Logan... And that little Ikea bastard, I'm surprised he's lasted this long said outrider grabbing at Chris's throat but Allen shoves outriders arm out of the way slapping his revolver out of his hand smashing his head against the wall cracking the wall throwing him against the floor stomping on his ankle while he grabs a knife out of his belt and stabs allens calf pulling himself up and stabbing Allen again in the chest fastly pulling the blade out and stabbing his chest again till Allen shoves him off while they both stair at each other with blood dripping off them both while Allen gives outrider a death stair and outrider stands there smiling 

PAKOW PAKOW PAKOW PAKOW PAKOW 

Allen looks back at Chirs holding his pistol with smoke coming off the barrel while they both slowly walk towards him looking at Shawn grabbing him pouring a bottle of water on him out of a box waking him up while they try to clean his face off of blood till Shawn points behind them making Allen quickly turn his head seeing outrider running at them as Shawn quickly grabs Chris's pistol shooting outrider throwing him to the ground as he growns and gags grabbing at his throat while Allen slowly gets up walking behind him till he kneels next to logan felling his neck for a pulse "he's gone" whispered Allen looking at logan slumped on the ground while Shawn and Chris look at logan in shock. 

there's no way he- he's dead said Chris.

remember what he said. 

no I don't why?

he said that he is willing to sacrifice himself for us... I guess he proved it then said Allen.

Shawn grabs logans pistol out of his belt and putting it on his hugging Logan while shawn starts to cry into his shoulder. "I'm so sorry you had to end like this... at least we got him" said Shawn closing his eyes squeezing onto logan for the last time.
