Jungkook was out with Minsu, just strolling around the city. But it was getting closer and closer to the time of the Idol's concert and the two were hoping that time would slow. Neither spent much time together and when they did, the child was busy doing his schoolwork or his father was resting after a day's work of dancing to perfection or recording a song.

"Daddy, can you teach me how to dance one day?" The boy asked, looking up at Jungkook through his lashes. Minsu was a very pretty little boy and now every time the Idol would look at him, he saw the beauty of Taehyung inside and outside of him. It was getting hard to not break down when he met eyes with his son lately. He was beginning to feel that he couldn't cry anymore because when he did, nothing would come out.

Jungkook hated to cry or show negative feelings in front of his children. But no one can truly hide their feelings from everyone.

"I certainly can, baby. How about you come with me tomorrow to practice. Does that sound okay?" Jungkook asked and hoisted the child onto his hip.

A light giggle left Minsu's lips and he nodded. "I'd love that, daddy." He rested his head on Jungkook's chest and let out a content sigh. He really appreciated this time he was getting with his father, but hated that the tour would be over in just two weeks. He wished that it would last longer so he wouldn't have to see Yugyeom.

"Let's get some ice cream and then head back to the hotel for a nap. M'kay? Daddy is feeling tired." Jungkook looked around for an ice cream shop and spotted one across the street.

"All right, daddy. Can I take a naps with you?" Minsu wondered. "Sure you can." His father patted his back and walked into the small shop.

Everything was in neon and pastels. The walls were different hues of pink and green swirls and neon blue signs everywhere. Anime posters were hung over the walls and the single worker was a bubbly person who greeted them happily.

"Hello, what would you like?" She asked and smiled at the child who waved to her.

"One chocolate cone and one bubblegum cone with sprinkles please. Both one scoop." Jungkook told her and took out his wallet, setting a card down.

The lady swiped the plastic before making the treats for the customers. When she finished she handed them over, bidding the two goodbye when they left for the door.

Minsu grinned as he licked the frozen dessert, getting some sprinkles on his chin too. The two chatted about some random things and laughed at memories before making it to the hotel where they were greeted by the kind staff.

"Mr. Jeon, you have visitors. They are up in your room." The man at the front desk informed the Idol who nodded and thanked him. "Who is it, daddy?" Minsu asked and hopped onto the elevator. He was given the privilege to press the button and did it with glee.

"I'm not sure, baby. We'll just have to see." Jungkook spoke. It was odd to have visitors unless it was Jimin or his parents. But he hadn't spoken to his parents in a years, seeing only that they loathed that their son was an Idol.

They hated that he left home at fifteen to become one. But they were just hurt that he left, so they replaced the sadness with anger and started resenting their son. They hadn't even seen their grandchildren in person, only on the television because they didn't dare to contact Jungkook.

When the two got off of the elevator and went inside the room, they were met with Jimin and another male whom Jungkook didn't recognize.

"Kook, this is Hoseok. I hope it's alright for him to meet you. I didn't want him to wait in the lobby again." Jimin chuckled with worry in his eyes. He knew how Jungkook was around strangers and hoped that he would like Hoseok.

"No, it's fine. Hoseok, just never repeat anything you hear, all right? Then we'll be cool." Jungkook spoke with a bit of shyness laced in his tone.

Hoseok nodded and bowed to the Idol. "I won't. I promise, Jungkook." He spoke and his eyes landed on Minsu who shyly waved at him.

"All right." Jungkook nodded. "So, why are you here again, Chim?" He asked and took his coat off, taking Minsu's hoodie off too.

"Well, this." Jimin turned behind him to the open laptop and held it up. It was a video call with Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi and they all looked irritated.

Jungkook felt his heart drop and his throat run dry when he saw the familiar faces. Minsu tugged on his father's hand. "Who are they, daddy?" He asked as he waved to the screen.

"My...friends. They're daddy's friends." Jungkook spoke breathlessly and stepped closer, staring at the two squares and one black one. He wondered why that one was there, but disregarded it.

"You have a lot of explaining to do, Jeon Jungkook!"
