Day 1: touch starved

Feeling zesty so I switched up the irondad 😈

3rd person POV:

Peter has a good life, or at least that's what he would say if you asked him. He has a house, a loving aunt, great friends, near perfect grades, an internship with the Tony Stark, he was Spider-Man, he knew the Avengers, who wouldn't envy his life? What he'll never tell anyone is how alone he feels at times, how so? He may have a good life in his eyes but there's actually a lot of things in it that greatly affect him, and he doesn't want to acknowledge it. He used to have loving parents that would hug and kiss him all the time but they died when he was 6 years old. His aunt loved him a lot, and he was so great full for that, but besides the morning kisses and hugs he would get, if May wasn't running late, he would mostly not see his aunt for most of the day. His friends were also great but they're not the type to hug, especially Mj, the internship at the tower was also great but what was he going to do there? Ask for attention because he feels alone? Of course not! That's embarrassing, especially with the Avengers and Tony there.

Even though Peter felt alone there was always someone back at the tower who would always cheer him up, Loki. Sure, Loki used to be a bad guy, especially with the attack on New York, but he was being controlled. Even though most people still didn't forgive him, Peter didn't care, he welcomed Loki with open arms, and a lot of questions... a lot. At first Loki was skeptical of Peter, no one had ever shown such a fascination towards him before, nor did they want to talk with him. Not Peter though, no, he wanted to know more about him, how his magic worked, how life was back in Asgard, what was it like being a god. After a while of occasionally talking Loki grew quite fond of Peter and their occasional chats turned into daily conversations. Every time Peter walked through the tower's doors Loki was more than excited to see him, not that he'll ever tell that to anyone, no, he's got a reputation to uphold. When Peter would be done helping out Stark he would almost always go into the kitchen to grab a cup of water or a snack, and when he did that Loki would immediately strike up a conversation. Not to mention when Peter got to stay the night, everyone loved it when Peter stayed over, how could they not? He was basically the highlight of everyone's day, but Loki would always secretly be the most excited out of all of them.

When Peter stayed over it was almost always guaranteed that there was going to be a movie night, along with Pizza or take out. Everyone would gather up in the living room with their blankets and watch whatever movie they wanted, by that I mean whoever got the remote first chose what everyone would watch. After the movie was done everyone would go to their rooms to go to bed, not Peter and Loki though, of course not. They would sneak a few snacks, maybe some ice cream, Peter would rant on about his day and how great it was, leaving out any unpleasant parts or Spider-Man parts. Sure, Peter thought he was hiding his identity well from everyone else, and he was, it's just that he didn't take into consideration that he was talking with Loki, god of mischief and lies. Loki knew almost instantly that Peter was Spider-Man when he saw his arms all bruised up when his sleeves slid up. He knew it was from being Spider-Man because the day before he saw the masked vigilante fighting criminals and saw the damage, which just so happened to be on Peter too. He never did call Peter out on this though, he was hiding his identity for a reason, and whenever he was ready he would reveal it.

Why does Loki even care so much about the kid? He himself couldn't answer that, there was just something about Peter that made him smile and feel a sort of fatherly love towards the kid. Something else Loki had noticed is how dazed Peter would look sometimes, Peter would just stare off into the distance with a sort of dead look in his eyes. Whenever that happened Loki would ask what was wrong but Peter, being as stubborn as he is, would always say he was fine. Loki didn't buy it, but wouldn't push it either, he didn't want his kid- I mean, the kid to feel uncomfortable or pressured into anything.
