Eddie didn't even ask where they were going. he sort of wanted to be a surprise. he was about to strike up a conversation with bill but then ms denbrough asked him "so, you must be eddie! are any of your parents witches or wizards?" she asked with a cheery voice, making sure to keep an eye on the road.
"Oh. uhm. I'm not sure about my dad. he died from cancer, and I don't think my mom is a witch" eddie responded shyly. he never met ms denbrough
"Well, then you must be excited to go to Hogwarts! i remember my first ti-"
"mooooom.. p-please do-don't share your whole l-life story a-again!" bill giggled
"ok finee" ms denbroughs mom chuckled
eddie smiled. must be nice to have a nice relationship with your mom. eddie is now 12 and he still never got along with his mother.
