~Losers In Hogwarts~ lots of reddie!~

alr... soooo this chapter will have ONE stranger things characters NAME... I PROMISE THIS WILL NOT HAVE THE ENTIRE STRANGER THINGS CROSSOVER HERE TOO... I mean... unless you guys want one I could do it ;)

after waiting about five minutes, Eddie was standing in a crowd of the other first years, trying to find the other losers in that big crowd in front of the hall,  it had rows of fancy chairs, with gold goblets filled to the brim with what eddie thought must be wine. Eddie thought these chairs must belong to the teachers and headmaster.

an old woman with a dark greenish robe walked briskly onto the pedestal in front of the crowd of first years.

eddie waited expectantly and noticed there was a stool, on the right of the pedestal and there was a large wrinkly hat. just seated on the chair.

the old woman had small spectacles, that sat neatly on the bridge of her nose, with a stern expression on her face.

she brought out a scroll and read from it,

¨greetings, first-years. to your very first year, at Hogwarts. school of witchcraft and wizardry.¨ here she paused for a hot five seconds then kept reading. ¨my name is Ms. Mcgonagall. I am your headmistress, and I am here to tell you, what your Hogwarts houses shall be. when I call your name, you will rise and sit on the stool, and the hat will do the rest.¨

eddie stared, confused. what did she mean by, ¨the hat will do the rest¨???

then, the hat started calling names.

Max, Max Mayfield.

the ginger-haired girl took a deep breath in and rose and shuffled over to the stool and put the wrinkly hat on, and to eddies surprise, it spoke

¨hmmm... interesting..¨ the hat muttered, with a rather husky voice, the girl, ¨Max¨ froze, she looked stunned. ¨griffyndor!!¨ the hat announced, the girl leaped off the stool and sat at the Gryffindor table, grinning widely.

the hat called about  20 students in the span of 5 minutes until Ms. Mcgonagall called someone eddie knew.

¨beverly, Beverly marsh!!¨ Ms. Mcgonagall read from her scroll. Beverly walked up the steps, expertly hiding how nervous she was. she sat on the stool and placed the hat on top of her head.

¨ahh.. easy...you.. are a Hufflepuff!!¨

Beverly hopped off the stool and sat at the Hufflepuff table, Then the hat called Ben, who also got Hufflepuff, ben had his sweet smile on his face as he sat next to Beverly. Beverly returned the smile

¨micheal  Hanlon!¨ the hat called, mike sat with the hat placed on his head, and it took a minute for the hat to speak, ¨hmmm... tricky..¨ the hat paused, then decided, ¨gryffindor!¨ 

Mike hopped off the stool, smiling ear-to-ear, Eddie didn't know what these ¨houses¨ meant. but his train of thought was interrupted by Ms. Mcgonagall. 

¨Edward Kaspbrak!¨

eddie inhaled and exhaled with a tiny quiver in his chest. his inhaler was packed in his trunk.. along with his fannypack. how stupid of him, Eddie thought regretfully

he walked up nervously and sat uneasily on the stool.

just seconds before he had plopped the wrinkled hat on his head, it said

¨hufflepuff!!¨

eddie exhaled, glad to take that old wrinkly hat off, and smiled weakly as he walked to the Hufflepuff table and waved to ben and bev who were also there, they returned the gesture kindly and pointed at a seat at their table, Eddie came a sat next to them

it had been another 5 minutes until the hat called another loser, Eddie had his head down on the table, he was tired.

bill had gone up and gotten Gryffindor, and stan got Ravenclaw. 

eddie brought his head up when he heard Ms. Macgonagall call,

¨Richard Tozier!¨

richie sighed and walked boldly to the stool and sat, legs crossed. he plopped the hat onto his dark curly-haired head.

¨ahh... I see...¨the hat said slowly richie rolled his eyes, waiting for the hat to get on with it

¨slytherin¨ the hat announced. 

richie slumped off the stool and over to the Slytherin table, glancing at eddie. 

eddie sighed and slumped his head down again. great. now he and richie were separated... stan, bill, and mike too.

eddie smiled over at ben and bev, at least he had these two lovebirds with him, he wouldn't mind third wheeling, as long as he had friends to be with.
