Karn along with the other kuru prince arrived at hastinapur the people who once scorned kauravas were now chanting their names, they were greeted with flowers people were seen everywhere the roof tops, the streets, windows just to get a glimpse of Kauravas who were never seen by the public as Gandhari feared her children's safety the people who scorned her children can go to any extent to harm them. Today the fickle mind of hastinapur was revealed , Karn just scoffed at the behavior of the children when he heard the screech of a eagle which landed on his shoulders Karn untied the letter from its legs and opened it. No one was going to bother noticing if you exclude Duryodhan and Ashwathama who weren't impressed by the behavior of the praja but then again no kingdom is complete without people. People formed the kingdom, Duryodhan knew one loss, one mistake is more then enough for these people to scorn them again. Scorned by their own kind what unlucky people they were but Duryodhan felt blessed to have a loving family and a trust worthy friend now he just needs to find his childhood friend then he will live a peaceful life.
Unknown to them Chaos was spread through out hastinapur, Ahhh Chaos a word which Karn loved the deep love and craving he had for chaos was unimaginable, the pleasure he received due to chaos made him want more of it.
The Pandavas felt humiliated after seeing the people who once chanted their name were now chanting Kauravas name, it made them burn in jealousy, and anger.
On the other hand Kauravas felt loved for the first time but they did not let the praise get to their head because they knew their brother would beat the shit out of them even Ashwathama those two were more then enough to make sure praise never gets to their head.
When they reached the palace Gandhari was standing there with arathi plate along with Kunti whose eyes emitted fire on seeing her puppets the pandavas who noticed this begun shivering slightly more like only their hands shivered the smile on their mother's face they knew it and they were going to be punished. Shadev was the one who feared kunti the most, Karn saw sahdev who looked paler than the ghost he looked like he wanted the earth to swallow him, but Karn gave a damn shit about Pandavas the only family he had was his parent, his mentor, his gurudev and duryodhan and his siblings.
Everyone later went to the hastinapur court after freshening up where Karn will announce about his resignation. The court sessions begun everyone first congratulated Kauravas before the crown prince matter arised.
"Maharaj we must crown Yudhisthar as the crown prince as he is the eldest and dronacharya himself approved him to be a great adminstrater," said Vidhur.
Karn sometimes wondered whether yudhistar was kunti and Vidhur's secret love child.
"Mahraj Dronacharya also told that the Pandavas were experts in handling weapons but they provided to be a failure, I say we crown prince duryodhan as the crown prince as he has proved his excellence in the battle field by within the war against Panchal he has also defeated devi shikandi single handed, " said one of the most important minister, the minister who handled the accounts of hatinapur.
"I agree with Minister Mahendra " said Minsiter Sagar who handeled all the trade deals in hastinapur he had a charsmatic personality hence he was able to bring many trade alliance to hastinapur.
The court which was divided into two were now presenting their argumets,one half wanted to crown Yudhistar while the other half wanted to crown Duryodhan.
"Enough,"Bheeshma's voice echoed through the the court room making everyone shut their mouths.
"The person who is able to solve this case will be crowned as the crown prince," said Bheeshma.
"which case Mahamhim"asked one of Pandavas boot licker.in hastinapur,
"The case which has created havoc in hastinapur the mysterious murderer who has been killing many innocent people of hastinapur," said Bhishma
"Mahamhim this case is very sensitive and you are planning to hand it over to a bunch of brats" said one of the Ministers who was the wisest and oldest minister, Minister Darshan he was the royal advisor and he belive both the set of princes are incapable of handling this case.
"Minister Darshan the prince's need to prove that they are worth this crown prince seat which has been offered to them," said Bheeshma who earned a nod from minister Darshan who has known him the longest Darshan was more like Bheeshma's friend who understood him.
"Mahamhim what is the time limit set for this case," asked Darshan with a smirk he was not going to let some brat rule over them this test will prove their worth.
"4 weeks"said Bheeshma making Darshan frown
"Mahamhim Maharaj I would like to request something" said Darshan who was granted permission.
"I would like to set the rules as I feel Mahamhim is a bit lineant towards the prince's," said Darshan

Everyone in the court became shocked hearing this afterall they were going to lose a talented man.
"Summon the raj veidhya" ordered Dhirdrashtra.

"Maharaj, I am grateful to work under the royal throne of hastinapur but now it is time for me to leave," said Karn in a calm yet stern tone.
"But why Vrisha "questioned Dhirdrastra
"It is quite simple Maharaj I love travelling and my goal is travel the entire world gain all knowledge available" said Karn.
Dhirdrastra nodded and accepted the resignation retcuantly and Karn left from there after taking permission.
He now had to go to Vallabhi where his entire family is waiting for him and even his mentor he had a suprise waiting for him, but just incase someone follows him he has to mislead them so he will go to Vijayanagar which was very close to Vallabhi then go to Vallabhi.
"Vrishaaa" Duryodhan shouted as he saw the man who looked alot like his childhood friend leave the palace.
"Yes Rajkumar,"
"You are Karn right my childhood best friend" said Duryodhan.
Karn looked shocked but he regained his calm and composed state.
