"He's on the move, go tell Wednesday. And I'll tell Y/N" Salem mutters as she and Thing have been working together to keep an eye on Rowan. Thing crawls to wherever Wednesday is while Salem travels through shadows.
"Mistress, Rowan's by the gate."
"Thank you, Salem. Has Wednesday been told?" Y/N closes the book she was reading. "Affirmative," Salem Responds, hiding in Y/N's shadow as they are now en route to the entrance of the school.
"Y/N" Wednesday greets, as they met up.
"Wednesday," The Witch returns the favor as they are now walking side-by-side. "I see you have a familiar, fitting for a witch. Thing told me, and I can sense it's hiding in your shadow." Wednesday glances behind Y/N looking at her shadow.
Y/N smiles, approving of Wednesday's awareness "Her name is Salem, she's my eyes and ear."
They eventually arrive and see Rowan hauling his luggage in the school's car. Wednesday fixes her jacket, "Rowan! We need to talk"
Rowan looks back to both Wednesday and Y/N unpleasantly and clicks his tongue, "Wednesday, I'm not allowed to be talking to either of you." He grunts as he places the last of his things.
"You had a lot to say the 3 nights ago when you tried to kill Wednesday" Y/N steps in, crossing her arms. She has a lot of questions in mind, starting with how the hell is he still standing?
Rowan sweats as he sees the Witch, Y/N senses the same aura of uneasiness. "You told me I was destined to destroy the school, remember?" Wednesday continues interrogating him, "And where did you get that drawing?" Y/N inserts. At this moment, Rowan is backed up against the car's hood as the two girls have been throwing so many questions at him.
He sees Thornhill approaching the car and grins, "I just went to the woods to clear my head, and you just went after me."
The redhead frowns as she sees both Wednesday and Y/N harassing him, "Wednesday, Y/N, you shouldn't be here." After Thornhill warns the two, Rowan snickers as he gets to be saved by a teacher. "Yeah, back off and leave me alone!"
The car revs its engine, as Thing crawls up to hitch a ride to follow Rowan. Wednesday nods and leaves to the appendage the rest, "Salem, airplane mode." Y/N commands as a crow flies up following the moving car.
Wednesday exhales, "It is up to them,"
Y/N nods in agreement, "It is up to them." She repeated
The car finally arrives at Burlington station, Thornhill parks the car as Rowan took out his suitcase and went inside. Thing follows him, inserting himself in a crowd of busy people risking himself being stomped on. But he managed, Salem is not far behind as she shifts into a mouse and crawls into nearby vents.
Thing got his pinky stuck in bubblegum, he looks up to the asbestos to see Salem nearby he asks Salem non-verbally to carry on as he tries to get himself out of this sticky situation. Salem squeaks, crawling faster to follow Rowan, and enters a male restroom. But when she got there she saw no one but a tall man exiting, Thing eventually got himself out but same as Salem, Rowan disappeared.
Salem jumps down to Thing's level, "Thing, go back to Nevermore. I'll meet you there, I have something I need to check out first." He nodded and went back to the campus probably hitchhiking a car to get there.
"You're not going anywhere, shady man" Salem mutters, she shifted into a human something she normally does not do, and walks a bit wobbly. This is a reason she prefers to shift into animals, walking on just two feet was hard for her. When shifting into a crow, after she lands she turns back into a cat who walks on all four legs; the more feet the better she says.
