Read the author's note afterward.

"While most plants reward their pollinators with sweet nectar, many carnivorous varieties turn to sexual trickery or deception," Marilyn stated while presenting the class with a plant. The class continued on, as always. Students are bored, not because of Marilyn but because of the subject itself. Y/N, who assisted her teacher during class, was one of the few who were paying close attention.

Eugene, who can be seen in the background, admires Y/N as if she were a goddess. Although Yoko sat upright, Y/N could tell that she was dozing off. What a talent, she thought.

Wednesday sees the scratch marks on Xavier's neck as he winces and stoops to pick up the pencil he dropped. The boy met her gaze and immediately came up with an excuse. Y/N turned to face them both and nodded; he is genuinely acting suspiciously.

"The orchid produces a pheromone that mimics a female insect, luring all the males in. Now once the plant is pollinated, what do the male insects get in exchange?" She asks the class, who look at each other.

Bianca scoffs, "Nada-just like all the guys at the Rave'N." Everyone in the class laughed in response to her remark. The Rave'N was coming up, and boys were hoping to hook up with their dates.

Marilyn smiles lopsidedly, "Okay, okay. I know you are all excited about Saturday, which is why I haven't assigned any homework." The entire class cheered as the redhead gave them the good news, no assignments means they can prepare their outfits for the event.

"But I do still need volunteers for the decorating community."

Only a few raised their hands to volunteer. The class was automatically dismissed as Marilyn headed off for the faculty meeting. They need to prepare for the Rave'N, and those who volunteered are also brought to the office.

"You saw it right? He is hiding something"

"I did, but are you sure?"

"No, that's why I need to find out. Watch the outside for me,"

Thing, Y/N, and Wednesday gathered outside the shed that Xavier uses for his artistic endeavors. He spends the majority of his time there, painting and creating drawings of the things that frighten or inspire him. Wednesday saw pictures of the Hyde as soon as she entered.

She is enraged by how everyone is treating her as if she is crazy for pursuing this monster; she did not anticipate Xavier pulling such a ruse on her as well. While there is undeniable evidence in his shed, he pretends that the monster doesn't exist. Wednesday witnessed it with her own eyes, and it is the exact same thing.

She seized two drawings after determining that she had seen enough. She exited the shed to find Y/N nowhere to be found when a voice called her name from behind.

"Wednesday,"

Wednesday turns around. "Hello," she greeted casually.

"What are you doing?" he pressed on. He wondered why Wednesday would stand outside his shed. "Nothing," she immediately responded. If you pay close attention, you can hear the tremble in her voice.

"I just saw you come out this way," she continued, her body now stiff. She raised an eyebrow at Xavier, who gave her a perplexed look. "What is this place?" she keeps asking, in an effort to make Xavier think she was simply curious rather than poking around.

Xavier looks back to his shed. "It is kind of like my private art studio. I cleared it out and fixed it so Weems let me use it," he explained, gesturing with his hands.
