3rd person POV...

The time was 9:00 AM, and the castle was quiet. Rather too soft some might say but there's never such a thing as too soft. Everyone was sleeping quietly, well besides You. Y/N quickly snatched their phone before leaving their room roaming the halls quietly while fiddling with their hands as they walked silently. Belos was asleep taking a little nap in headspace while you were taking over just kind of walking around. After a bit of walking through the long halls, you bumped into someone causing you to fall backward

"Ack shit sorry-"

I stopped at looked up seeing Hunter

"Sorry Y/N I didn't See you! What are you doing up so late though,"

He said looking at me like a distasteful parent

"I should ask you the same question"

I said looking at him with my arms crossed and raising a brow, he went silent for a second before looking away and brushing the back of his neck with his hand sighing

"uh, well I got bored and just started walking around and-"

"you were trying to find the exit weren't you,"

I interrupted uncrossing my arms and placing them on my hips, He stared at me before shamefully nodding his face flushing pink. I smirked and grabbed his hand starting to walk again dragging him behind me

"where are we going-??"

he said holding onto me as I dragged him off,

"to the exit! getting out of the castle would honestly be quite nice."

I answered while dragging him along, soon we made it to the big doors leading outside which were seemingly dark but lit by the moon

"So where are do you wanna go hm? We can maybe go see the coven head-"

"I wanna go find Darius,"

He said looking at the sky while fiddling with his hands, I had already let go of him so he was standing there just looking up, I thought for a moment

"Oh, I remember where the coven heads are! Let's go find them!"

I said before starting to walk down the giant steps, Hunter followed behind me as I started walking through town not a lot of people were out considering it was the middle of the night. We continued to walk until we got to a large building house, I knocked on the front door and backed up a bit, the sound of grumbling and steps being brought closer to the door, after a few seconds the door was unlocked and opened by no other than Terra Snapdragon, she looked down at us and immediately tried to close the door but I grabbed the nob of the door shoving it open

"what do you little brats want."

she hissed out looking at us, I just smiled

"We're here to see Darius!"

I said happily looking up at her, she mumbled and walked away leading us in, hunter walked in first and I followed closing the door behind him. we were led into the living room where a couple of the coven heads, immediately hunter ran over to Darius jumping onto him

"DARIUS!"

he yelled bear hugging him, Darius woke up in surprise screaming before looking at him first with annoyance but it then turned into a surprised look

"Hunter-?"

he said looking at him with a shocked face before hugging him tightly

"I missed you, Darius,"

Hunter responded hugging back tightly as well, I smiled watching them leaning against the door frame and sighing a bit. I felt a small vibration in my pocket and slowly sneaked out away from the living room and outside of the house, I pulled out my phone and saw it was a text from no other than my mother, of course, I clicked it reading it unlike when she texted me before, I sighed and just closed the text not even bothering to respond. I didn't have to deal with her bullshit anymore so why should I even take the time to respond. I looked inside the house again and noticed hunter and Darius talking happily, I smiled and closed the door deciding I could walk around the town myself. I walked for a bit just strolling around until I noticed something leading into the woods, it looked like some sort of goo. it was gross and slimy but something told me to go near it, to walk closer and investigate. I don't know why I felt like I needed to but I did and honestly, it felt like a bad idea. the trail of slime grew as I continued to follow it. I noticed some footprints in the ground along with the goo but continued anyway. soon I stopped at a cave where the goo lead to. I stepped closer and heard someone talking, it sounded as if it were an English accent and it was rather rough and gravelly. the sound of multiple voices being merged all into one as it talked. it was honestly horrifying but I continued to investigate, but when I took another step I felt my body stop in place as I felt Philip stop me

"Do not go in there."

He warned me as I just stood there feeling a nervous knot tie itself inside my stomach, I felt scared but I just stood there and after a minute I spoke up

"...why not,"

I questioned in my head to him, before he could answer thought I heard a loud noise from inside the cave and saw a goo-like hand fling out from the cave slamming onto the ground. I backed up immediately and turned not even wanting to see who or what it was. I bolted down the path back to the normal town square my breath a bit heavy as I leaned on a building and panted quietly

"What. What the FUCK was THAT."

I yelled as I continued to catch my breath, Philip just stayed quiet. I decided to start walking back to the coven heads house. Whatever that thing was that I saw is something I don't wanna encounter... as I walked through I could feel that I stepped in something gooey and slimy but it was probably just mud...yeah.
