everyday was the same. wake up, go to work, stay afterwards for about an hour to i. and write, go home, sleep. that's what sabrina expects, and that's what she gets. but word gets out that someone new moved into town, and little...
i woke up to the smell of coffee and sage insence. i slowly sit up and look towards the kitchen, jax sitting at the small island with a cup pressed to his lips.
he looks over, "want a cup?" i nod, "has meri waken up?"
they shake their head, "not yet, no. but is 9am on saturday so i'm not shocked."
i hummed in responce, tiredly getting up and going to the bathroom, brushing my hair and my teeth.
i'm soon greeted with a cup of coffee, which i take greatfully, and i sit down in my favourite chair.
"i love you." i whispered, taking a long sip. jax looked at me with an eyebrow raised, "what about me?"
i looked at him over the cup, taking a long sip, "i can love two things." i responded after a minute of eyecontact with my bestfriend.
they just laughed rolled their eyes, taking a sip from their own mug, that read, 'my bestfriend gave me this as a last minute present'.
we sat in comfortable silence for a couple of minutes, until we heard a door open down the hall.
my eyes widened until i realized it was just meri. she tiredly walked into the living room, her arms wrapped around her body.
"i love your bed, sabrina. and now i'm cold." she yawned. i stared, her morning voice bringing warmth to my cheeks.
"go cuddle with sabrina while i make you a coffee, her hugs are warm." jax suggested, my eyes widening quickly before i glared at him.
meri smiled and waddled over to me, "if you don't mind could i have a warm hug?"
i placed my mug on the coffee table, widening my arms, the shorter girl climbing into the embrace.

sabrina wrapped her arms around meris waist, the two girls quickly getting comfortable in eachothers embrace.
jax grinned to himself, pouring coffee into a mug, adding cream and sugar. they placed it beside sabrinas cup.
though the two girls didn't move, not wanting to move from their spots.
meri smiled softly, thinking, 'she does give warm hugs' to herself. her arms wrapped around sabrinas waist, resting her head in the crook of the tallers neck.
she placed a soft kiss on the skin without thinking, tracing shapes into sabrinas back, making the teen blush wildly.
but sabrina relaxed, looking towards the orange-haired girl. she placed a kiss on the top of meri's head before closing her eyes.
the two stayed like that for a while, jax quickly taking the chance to walk away so he 'doesn't have to see any lovey-dovey shit'.

meri smiled at sabrina who was baking in her kitchen, screaming at the oven in french.
"i can't belive that girl in the bucket hat was you, sab. the girl that doesn't speak french unless she's angry." meri smiled softly.
sabrina turned around, "awe, thanks meri. what language do you speak when angry?"
"tears." meri responded, taking a bite from her chocolate chip blondie. sabrina wheezed, "FOR REAL THOUGH."
after calming down, the two girls just ended up smiling at eachother, meri making her way to the kitchen.
sabrina grinned, holding meris cheek in her hand, "have i ever told you you're gorgeous?"
the younger blushed madly, "no, but if you do it again i might have to kiss you."
"you're gorgeous." sabrina leaned in, a small smirk on her face.
