sabrinas hand shook as she saw the bloody image of her bestfriend crippled on the floor of the black crow café.
she screamed out, her legs giving out.
as her knees hit the floor sabrina woke up in a cold sweat, her hand clasped over her mouth.
tears ran down her face, still grasping at conciousness.
her breaths were heavy and she adjested herself to rest her back on the headboard.
she took a small breath as she scanned the room, realising it was all a dream.
she grabbed her crocodile squishmallow and walked to jax's room, knocking on the door softly.
he looked up from his phone, a worried look on his face. "did it happen again?"
sabrina nodded, crawling into the boys bed.
"why don't we watch a tv show until you fall asleep?" jax said, putting a blanket over the redhead.
the teen put on the simpsons, and the two bestfriends watched it as sabrina slowly fell back to sleep.
---- sabrina hesitated before entering the store, before shaking it off and went in with meri and dakota.
jax grinned at them from the front counter, the three girls getting in line.
once they got to the counter, meri intoduced dakota.
they all ordered, and found a booth at the back. meri and dakota talked about growing up together, while sabrina was stuck starring at meri, and how she looked so cute when she was embarassed.
soon, sabrina was cut out of her trance as jax slid in beside her, placing everyone's order in front of them.
dakota basiclly imhaled her icecap after she first tasted it. "i'm in love." she gushed.
jax chuckled, "i do make a good icecap."
i elbowed him, "we both know vienna made it."
"and we both know you're in lov-" before jax cpuld finish their sentance, sabrina kicked him under the table.
jax rolled his eyes. "anyway. i heard new girl wanted a tour?" he looked at dakota. dakota's cheeks flushed slightly as she nodded.
meri chuckled. "lets get this show on the road, then."
all of them grabbed their things and left, vienna waving to the two workers.
jax and dakota walked in front as meri and sabrina slowed down a bit.
meri
we got to the park, and i watched as jax and dakota ran to the swings at the playground. i could tell dakota was falling for him.
i glaced around, seeing a cute picnic bench under a tree. "want to go sit?" i suggested, guesturing to the bench.
sabrina nodded. "yes please."
we made our way over and we sat side by side, and i took out the cocolate chip blondie from my totebag, which i had kept; incase we get hungry.
we split it, and ate it together in comfortable silence. i watched jax and dakota while they hung out on the swings.
i think i should tell her that jax is aroace.
sabrina and i finished our blondies, and i turned to her. she made eyecontact with me and i smiled.
"can i tell you something?" i asked, pushing a stand of hair behind her ear.
she blushed, but nodded. "yeah, anything."
"i really like you." i admitted, resting my hand on her cheek. i could feel it heating up under my fingertips.
she only responded by pulling me in for a kiss.
