"Janay it wasn't like that" Derwin kept telling her over and over, "Then what is it Derwin?"

"What is it about Melanie that you can't seem to let go? I don't understand I'm
doing everything and you still pick her!"

He immediately turned to look at Janay's face which was stained with tears.

"Baby what are you talking about? I chose you, I'm inlove with you!" He came over to her.

"No you didn't, if Melanie calls you'll run through a herd of cows for her."

"Yea but I'd run through a herd of angry bulls to get to you Janay! Understand this when I say it!"

"I love you Nay, yes Melanie and I have history and we've been in each other's lives for so long but that's it!"

"Then why won't you let her go Derwin.", "she's my childs mother Janay."

"Yea but I'm your fiancé." She told him, she sat on the couch and placed her hands over her face.

Derwin's face fell, he hated seeing janay upset angry or hurt. It made his soul hurt just seeing her stub her toe.

He came over and sat beside her pulling her whole body onto his. He layed back on the bed and janay laid on top of him.

Her legs are placed onto his torso and her head is his chest, he rubbed her back as she cried.

"Janay I promise you baby, I love you and Dj with every part of me. I'm marrying you because your the one I love. I would give you the world if I could because you deserve everything under the sun. I'm sorry for putting you through all this and I promise whenever I see Mel about the baby, you'll be present or in knowledge of it."

She smiled on his chest, all Janay every wanted was for him to include her. He's always so secretive when it comes to Melanie so of course she's assume he still wants her.

"I'm sorry." She whispered, he shook his head "No I'm sorry mama, I promise no more Mel-drama,"

She nodded before resting her eyes, he kissed her forehead and proceeded to do the same.

"Bye tootie." Melanie kissed her daughters face repeatedly, "Okay mommy!!" Issy shouted pushing her away.

Trey laughed at the two of them, "Don't do me girl." Melanie and Issy both rolled their eyes at each other.

"Bye," Issy ran off into the classroom her daycare teacher resides in, "She's something else." Trey said grabbing Mel's hand.

They walked out and to the car, he opened the door for her and she hopped in. "We're going to the appointment right?"

Mel nodded adjusting her seat all the way back, "You messing up my girlfriend seat." Melanie's head flew up with quickness.

"Treyvion Wiggs do not play me with I'll crash
all three of us." He laughed at her outburst as she laid back down.

"Its really not that deep." he said before turning up the music a bit, minutes later they were in front of the hospital.

"Come on Baby!" Trey opened Mel's door helping her out the car, her 5th month belly was huge.

Janay and Derwin thought she was having twins but the doctor confirmed it was only one baby.

"Wassup fam!" Derwin spoke to the both of them as soon as they walked through the door.

Mel waved as she waddled over to them, "What time is the appointment?" Janay asked helping Mel in her seat.

"It's at 2:30." Trey confirmed sitting beside his fiancé, "It's always 2:26." Derwin said looking at the clock on the wall.

"Melanie Barnett Davis?" The four of them looked at each other awkwardly before standing up.

They all followed the lady to the back before entering the office, "Got your whole family hear I see."

It was Melanie's nurse from Isabella, her name is Tracy Wilson. "Hey Tracy girl." Melanie laughed hugging her.

"Hey Trey, I see you done knocked my sis up again." she hugged Trey before looking at Derwin and Janay.

"Actually he did," Trey pointed at Derwin who held his hand up and laughed, "Wait what?"
"Let me tell you girl."

The three of the sat down as Tracy helped Melanie onto the bed, "Remember Derwin from two years ago?"

"The cheating asshole who made you cry nons- Yea Tracy that Derwin anyways, him and I reconciled and started dating for a while then we split up again. Trey and I got together and Derwin went back to his babymother Janay, 2 months later I get a positive pregnancy test."

"You just spilling all the tea about us like we not right here." Derwin said smacking his teeth, "Swear." Trey added looking at Derwin.

"Anyways let's get this over with, lift your shirt up you know how this goes." Tracy said pointing at Mel who did as told.

"Omg." Derwin stood up looking at the screen, he came closer to Melanie and she looked up at him smiling.

They smiled at each other before looking back at the screen. "Do you guys want to know the gender or are you doing a reveal?"

Before anyone could speak Janay blurted out "A reveal!" making all of them look at her weirdly.

"What I didn't have one with Dj and I wanted one?" She shrugged casually .

"Okay I guess." Melanie said giggling. Tracy wiped the ointment off of Mel's stomach before pulling Mel's shirt down.

Derwin helped Melanie off the bed since he was closer to her then Trey was. Janay and Trey both stood up at the same time.

Tracy grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down the genders before putting it in a envelope and giving it to Janay.

Then Trey and Melanie both hugged Tracy once again before the four of them exited the room.

"So you're gonna plan the gender reveal?" Janay nodded, she was so excited because she always wanted to have one.

"I can help."
