I laughed as I rolled the cart around Target with Trey, "I didn't get the Oreos either I just left." He finished

"You're crazy!" I told him and he shrugged. I turned to Bella who was grabbing random stuff.

I turned to Trey who was just helping her get stuff "I assume you're paying." He nodded.

"Don't I always?" He laughed before pulling my face to his kissing me, the cart stopped as if I hit something.

I pulled away turning around "BEL!" I heard a familiar voice and then I saw Derwin, Dj, and Janay.

"Oh god." I shook my head, "DJ" Bel clapped loudly.

I grabbed her out of the cart and Janay did the same with Dj, we put them down and they both ran to each other.

"Awwn," I turned to Trey who was smiling ear to ear, "Hi Derwin, Janay," I was first to acknowledge the elephant in the room.

"Hey Mel." Derwin smiling at me and I smiled back, "Oh no, not again." Trey placed his hand infront of my eyes.

"Okay stop, we're not five babe." I heard Derwin say, "I'm just saying, you know how you are when she's back around." Janay said

"You guys are back together?" I asked shocked, I knew it would happen but not so soon.

I happy for them though "Yes, I see you finally noticed what was right infront of you." Janay said to me.

I nodded smiling at Trey, everyone had been always telling me to get with Trey but I didn't understand why until now.

"Mel[Derwin] can we talk?" Derwin and I both said at the same time before laughing.

I noticed the look Trey gave and he noticed the one Janay gave, "We just clearing it up Trey don't be like that." I leaned in to kiss Trey

"Want to go to the toys isle for the kids?" Janay asked Trey and he nodded, they walked away leaving Derwin and I.

"Listen Melanie I understand we thought what we had would work but I understand why it didn't." He held my hand

"I didn't know I was as happy as I was with Janay until I left her. I love my family and I see why god put them it my life."

"I loved being with you, I always love being with you but we both know this never going to work for us especially now."

I nodded, " You're right, I never noticed what Trey and I have until I let go of what I had with you." I admitted to him, it was true.

"I didn't want to be with him because I still had hope for us but now I am happy with him and our daughter." I smiled at the tough of them

"Sure I used to want what he and I have to be what you and I need but we both know why it didn't happen."

"I think we had our moment and it's over" He nodded before we leaned in to hug, our last hug

After agreeing to let our past be our past, there was still one thing I needed to tell him.

"Derwin, I have to tell you something" he waiting for me to speak, instead I pulled the two pregnancies test out of my purse

"Are you trying to recreate why we broke up in the first place?" He asked laughing but I kept a serious face

"Damn bro, it's mine isn't it?" I nodded and he palmed his forehead. "I haven't told Trey and I don't know if I want to."

Honestly we'd just gotten together, how would I sound if I just came up to him randomly like

"Oh I'm pregnant with another man's child," I've tried that before and I ended up put out and single for 2 years

I'm not putting myself through that again.

It was bleak

"What you mean?" He asked, "I don't know if I want to keep it." I told him and he shook his head.

"Keep what?" I tried to hide the test as Trey Bel, Dj and Janay popped up. Trey came over with Bella wrapping his arms around me.

"Nothing." I responded and Janay just watched Derwin's every move, "What happened? Why you look so weird?"

"We just had decided to um- tell y'all that we've decided to be friends" I cut him off

Janay and Trey glanced at each other, "What's this?" Trey pulled the tests out of my shirt

"Fuck" I heard Derwin mumble, "Um I'm pregnant." I said.

"By me." Derwin added, they made the most disappointed expressions. I can't handle this, at all.
