After over a week of bedrest it was finally time to go to school. All this from a dang tennis ball- don't underestimate those things. Not talking wasn't that much of a deal for me; I mostly kept to myself anyway. It did put a little delay on my streaming career though, which was disappointing.

On my first day back I sat down for my first class. Per the usual nobody said anything to me, and I did my work in silence. After finishing early I brought out my notebook and sketched out some lore ideas. This really annoying kid Joey was sitting next to me, and before I could protest he snatched my book.

"What's this?" He scoffed, reading it aloud, "Dream Smp Season Three Episode Two," Joey burst out laughing, "How cringe do you have to be? Oh my god you guys get a load of this," He nudged his friend who sat in front of us, "Thomas looked at this. She's a DrEaM sTaN! My guy has a double-chin," He couldn't stop madly laughing, even when his teacher told him to be quiet. Normally I stayed quiet but this time it was really getting to me. Joey knew I couldn't say anything back too.

Suddenly, it's like my voice magically reappeared, "Don't you dare talk about my brother like that," It came out a little raspier then I would've liked, but I was shocked I could speak so soon. I saw his face grow blank, but then he grinned again and replied, "So you can talk again?"

"That doesn't matter," I retorted, "You don't get to talk to my family like that," I grabbed my notebook back, "You're not even worth my time. Just mind your own business."

The bell rang and everyone left the classroom but I overheard Thomas say, "I bet she thinks that Dream is her actual family. What an idiot, she's probably a goofy furry too." Oooo they would pay for that later; not that there was anything wrong with furries of course.

I got my opportunity the next day. My English teacher began talking about the essay due and Joey had forgotten his notebook. The kid turned to me, "Yo Lotus mind if I borrow some notes real quick?" But I shook my head, "Should've thought about that before you insulted Clay."

"He's not even your brother-" He interjected but I interrupted him, "Actually he is, not that somebody as successful and amazing as him would ever be near the likes of you. Suck it up and ask somebody else for your forgotten supplies."

I saw that he was stunned, but the teacher caught on. I liked Mrs. Gracie, she was a real nice teacher and always knew what was actually going on in class. I saw her secretly smile to herself and say, "Joey, where is your notebook? This is the third offense. Please write your name down in the book." Gracie winked at me, and I smiled back. She always had my back whenever people tried to bully me. Her all-holy book was given to the principal with a list of all the troublemakers. Mrs. Gracie was always fair about it and gave tons of warnings too.

At the end of the day I went back home, my parents were happy my voice was back. I'd told them the day before and now that it was the second day it had already gone back to normal. My mom called me her "tough little gal," and I could finally start my streaming career. This was going to be fun!
