Jennifer McGane.

One of the few persons whom evey girl of this century envied. The girl whom everyone wanted to be like. Or atleast meet and acquaint with. Well, except me. I don't know why she was appearing in every facets of my life. Within one week, she discovered my exclusive secret.

Before I could open my mouth to defend myself with some lies, he saved me.

' George McGane', Jennifer's father. He vomited. A pond of tecquila, some digestive juices and some floating beef chops.

Me and my co-workers of the bar helped him up to a taxi.

It is one of the drawbacks of working in a bar. Customers vomit and passes out here and there. Most of the cases, we squeeze or tie them in a taxi. Or worst scenario we have to call muscly guys to teach them how to behave.

But George McGane is my angel. Eventhough his vomiting came to my rescue, what bothered me most was the shining tears I saw in Jennifer McGane's eyes. She wasn't embarrassed, she was just sad.

This monday morning all I wanted was Jennifer McGane to forget those incidents. She can even forget my whole existence. The last thing I want is, her reporting all those things to police and school authorities.

" Lily!!, Go and make breakfast, Mommy wants to go early today. "

" Ask papa to do it. I'll be late to school."

No response.

Yes! Thats it. Let me go and make breakfast.

Making omelettes and pancakes for a family of four wasn't difficult. Actually I am an expert in preparing food now. Mom does overtime work to pay off our city rental home. Ren went out early in the morning for some new projects in the countryside. My little brother, Harry helps me in household chores other than cooking. And my dad sleeps peacefully.

Yes. Thats what he does, morning to night. And night to morning. I don't know why people like him are blessed with so much sleep. I have no anger or hatred to my dad. But I must admit, he is lazy to the core. He was a business graduate and had a decent job while marrying my mom. After my little brother was born he left his job and started a new business. Not only it was a flope, it pushed to brim of bankruptcy. My mother was a tailor at a fabric shop and was making some decent earnings. But not enough to cover his debts. My grandfather a.k.a my mom's dad did a good job to help us recover.

But my father did business again and got us round back to the same situation. This time not bankrupt, because dad sold our own home and land in the countryside to cover up the debt. Thats how we made progress to reach to a city rental home with one bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom, with a fortune as rent. This time grandpa couldn't help. In order to start off again every single valuable thing was pawned or sold off.

But dad had patience. He started his business venture again. Summer clothes business. It was all nice and cute looking thin fabric clothes. The only problem was he launched it on the winter season. None of it got sold. Before the summer came back in the country, the loan sharks came to our home, took all the stock with them. Thank God they went away with that.

On the other side, my mom was always hardworking. All she wanted was to sit at home and knit sweaters for her children. But she is now a tailor stitching clothes without any rest, but not for her kids. Ren, my elder brother, the oldest of us, is just like mom. Working hard day and night. He didn't even have time to plan his career. He was forced to accept whatever came in his way. However in between all this fiasco, he managed to complete an engineering degree in a private college. Thats when I decided to work.
