Chapter 6b: The Third Motive

We all headed to the gym.
It was time for the 3rd motive.

"Well well well my fellow students. Congrats on surviving this far!" MonoAnnouncer said.
"JUST GET ON WITH IT!!!!" Snowball yelled.
"I'll pay you to keep your mouth shut!" MonoAnnouncer said. "AND MY PRICE IS $1M!!!!"
With that being said, $1M fell out of the ceiling and all over MonoAnnouncer.
We all said nothing except one person.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Pen asked.
"Because." Pencil said.
"Okay I may have a gigantic debt, but even if that were enough,I'm not going to kill someone for money. Money isn't worth someone's life!" Pen said.
"Heh." Pencil rolled her eyes and smiled.
Pen tried not to laugh.
Pencil then had her eyes towards Leafy, which angered Pin.
I was the first to speak.
"IF YOU THINK WE'RE GOING TO KILL FOR MONEY, YOU'RE DUMBER THAN I THOUGHT!!!!" I yelled. MonoAnnouncer just laughed. "DUMBASS!!! WE'RE NOT KILLING FOR FUCKING MONEY AND THAT'S THAT!!!!" Snowball made his way to the stash of cash and shoved it all to the ground. Then began to stomp on it. "Hahahahahaahah! You really think that'll do anything!?" MonoAnnouncer asked. "Anyways, good luck on getting some cash." MonoAnnouncer then disappeared.
Spongy was the first to leave, asking us to fallow him.

Spongy led us to a room on the 2nd floor. It was an empty classroom with desks and chairs scattered around. "This is what you wanted to show us?" Snowball asked. Spongy didn't say anything. Instead, he went to a closet. "Notice anything about this room? Look around."
"There's no cameras in this room." I pointed out. "Exactly." Spongy said. He then took something out of the closet. "Made it after Flower's trial. Found some good equipment on the 2nd floor." "What even is this?" Pin asked. "I call it the 'Spongy Speaker Box' " Spongy said. "Hi." Spongy Speaker Box said. "That is like a stupid name?" Match said. "But what can it do?" Pen asked. "Oh it can hack into the security systems, and as it does more and more, it can develop enough power to even get us all out of here!" Spongy said. "Why not now!?" Eraser asked. "I didn't have enough materials to do that but I had an idea. Why not program it to make its own materials!?" "That seems like a good idea." Tennis Ball said. "Hey, you mind if I take a look at it?" "Thanks Tennis Ball, but I'd rather not. I have my reasons. Besides, during Coiny's trial, it printed something you might want to see!" Spongy Speaker Box handed Spongy a photo.
And what we saw shocked us.
It was picture of Flower giving a playful noogie to Golfball who was trying her best not to laugh. And behind Flower was TD trying to choke Flower.
Not only that, but they were all in a classroom of Hopes Peak. A normal one. No boarded up windows, no locked doors.
"What the hell." Needle said.
"How does that make sense?" Firey asked.
"Do you guys think... and call me crazy if so but... do you guys think that nobody actually died." Yo Yo Ball pondered.
"No. That's impossible. We've seen them all get killed. Either their corpses or their actual deaths." Ice Cube said. "But what if it the executions weren't enough to kill GB and TD." Blocky said. "Dude, we literally saw Teardrop get eaten by a wave monster." Water Bottle said. "You actually think that wave monster is real. Teardrop's a swimmer! She probably swam out of Hopes Peak for all we know!" Blocky said. "Then explain the golf club that the bossy bot took to the head. Looked like she actually died from getting hit with it that hard!" Match stated. "It has to be head injury." Blocky said. "If that's so, then where's the corpses." Pencil asked. Blocky was quiet for a minute. He then took the picture and examined it. "Then what the hell does this mean? Rocky, you knew Flower and Golfball right?" I nodded. "Did they ever talk about one another because I don't remember them doing so when I'm around." Blocky asked. I thought back. I never knew Golfball and Flower knew each other until coming to Hopes Peak. "So maybe they all knew each other and were allowed to go to one of the classrooms at Hopes Peak since they were ultimates." Tennis Ball. "We might have to go with that for now." Snowball said. "Um Speaker Box, go look at the security cameras installed inside of you." Spongy said. "That should help find more answers. Now should we ask MonoAnnouncer about the picture." "No." Ice Cube and Yo Yo Ball said at the same time. "Maybe it's best to keep Speaker Box away from MonoAnnouncer. Or else he'll stop Speaker Box from helping us escape."
"Yeah, that my be true." Spongy said looking at the photo.
