Chapter 5 : System Shock

||J's POV||

  "It's a normal day to kill you drones as my food for the night." I said, stabbing my victim as I drank It's oil.
  I stood there silently, before walking out to find N & V. Looking around I only saw V.
"V!, have you seen N?" I shouted at her. She got startled for a second. She replied back to me, "I saw him leave before us. He looked real weird.", "Almost like there was a warning on his screen or something?" V added questioningly.
-*A warning? That's rare. I should ask him about this*-.. "Hey V, I'm gonna go after N"
  And with that, I flew back to the landing pod in a rush.
 
On the way back, I noticed N on one of the buildings, not on the landing pod. He detected me afterwards. I signalled that I would land beside him. N looked at me with a confused face, which I quite hate..
  "Why did you leave so much earlier again?" I argued. "I-I have my own reasons J," "This topic doesn't fit r-иight now.."
  I heared a static in his voice, but ignored it entirely. I wasn't thinking either. "You always stutter and make up your own reasons. What exactly are you hiding?" He stayed quiet. I got angry and shouted at him.. by accident..
  "WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?! IT'S NOT THAT HARD, N! IT'S ANNOYING ME, AND IT'S BEEN MORE THAN DAYS SINCE THIS STUPID THING WAS HAPPENING. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST TELL-" "I DON'T WANT TO ARGUE, J!" I was cut off by N, who stood up and again, flew away from my sight. I-I felt like I did something wrong.

Something I once felt bad for.

I didn't mean to say that to you..

||3rd Person POV||

N flew away angrily at the far side of the place. He realized what he just said. He felt bad. Why did I say that?!, he thought to himself in fear.
He was afraid to show himself to J again, after what he said towards her. And V might view him as a bad person.
When he landed, he curled up like a ball and started overthinking. He felt something coming, his system suddenly shut down.
On his screen, all it said was..

"ERROR : Virus detected in system"

|| V's POV ||

As I was flying back after getting.. 'distracted' by something, I saw J right at the top of the building to my right. I jumped up to her, and looked at her. She was.. feeling sad?
"J?! What happened?" I questioned, trying to calm her down. I was worried.
" I-I accidentally shouted at N.. and he got angry.." I was shocked. My feelings got mixed up, madness, fear, confusion. "I t-think I did something wrong, V.." J added.
"Hey, N would probably come back and apologize, ri-" "He won't, I started this V!" She said, laying her head on her knees.

-*What do I do? How do I help J? T-This doesn't fit me right, what's happening?!*-
Me and J went inside the pod, patiently waiting for N. All hopes, J wanted to say sorry.
But N was taking longer than usual. Hours already passed. What could've happened? I started worrying for J, she's never like this.

||N's POV||

I rebooted again.. -*What happened? I can't remember anything..?*- I realized what happened. I was scared J might scream at me again. I don't mind at her telling me I'm useless, but I'm more afraid at something else.
If I do go back, I don't know what would happen, so I chose to sleep behind a pillar near the building.

I just hope I don't get found by them.
