Eren P.O.V.

Oh my lord. He kissed me... His soft lips, perfect lips... I mentally slapped myself for thinking like that. I'm so, urg. Sometimes I just wanna die for being like this. But then i thought about my family how worried they must be about me. i can feel my tear slide down my cheeks and drip into the pool. I hummed the song that i used to sing with my mother as a child before she died. I closed my eyes and saw the memories of her and how such a selfish child I was. if only I could turn back time that accident wouldn't have happened.

Flashback

"Eren!" My mom yelled. She's been constantly nagging me that I need to start finding a fiancé.

"I don't want one mom why can't you understand!" I yelled at her

"Your next in line for the throne and I will not allow you to be king without a queen! I'm bringing the daughters of high status nobles over so that you may choose which one pleases your senses." she said

"Mother! I have no need for a queen. I will not meet any of the daughters you will bring today, for I do not want any of them" I explained

"Why won't you Listen to me for once in your life! You will get married to one of these ladies and produce an offspring of your own!" She yelled

"You will never understand me...." I whispered. Her eyes growing wide as she saw my tears run down my face.
I swam away as fast as I could and she swam after me calling out my name.

Suddenly the alarms went off signaling that there was an intruder. I stopped and stared at my mom. In a hurry I grabbed her hand and swam.

"Eren where are you taking me?" She asked
"We have to hide until the intruder is caught" I responded
I took her to my room and into the closet where there was an exit. We swan near it and hid there till we thought it was safe enough. all of a sudden we hear a scream. We looked to our left and far away was a child getting caught on a fisherman's net. Over the oceans surface. Without any thought my mom swam as fast as she could, got in the net to save the girl. When she got to the surface she tried to save the girl . Eventually she was spotted, and got her tail stuck on the net trying to escape.
"Mom!!" I yelled
"Eren, you and the girl get out of here, HURRY" she ordered us
"I'm not leaving without you " I whispered
"You have to live Eren please go... I love you" she said

    Those were her final words and i didn't do anything to save her. I'm such a fool. I did nothing...  and that haunts me. Just like me dad I'm so useless always am always will. He only keeps me around to destroy ships that come to capture our kind, very much like this one. These kind of situations will never change.  The only reason i keep on living is because mom had told me to live. Another reason is because of Armin and Mikasa. To me as long as someone in this sea loves me and cares about me I will never give up on life. Especially now i must not give up because... new feelings. I've grown fond of Levi. Despite his rude demeanor he's nice and very kind, not to mention sexy.

   I hear the door open and see Levi walk in. He looks kind of stressed with slight dark bags under his eyes. He looks over to me and smiles.

"Hey brat how are you doing?" he asked with his husky voice

"good... Are you ok?" i replied softly

He looks over too me with tired eyes and nods. He sits on the edge of the bed and silence consumes the room. Suddenly he stands up and starts to walk over to me slowly getting into the pool. I'm in shock, don't even know what to do. He walks near me and sits down next to me, leaning his head slowly on my shoulder. I look at him and he looks so.... peaceful.
