I feel like someone just hit me with a hammer on my head , yesterday I booked my flight and it happened to be the next day at 7 am so I have to take my cat and leave it in my friend's house and then I went to my chief to tell him not telling him but begging him to give me a month break because of that case , I hate him so much but in the end he agreed .
And now I'm setting in the airport waiting for my flight with zero sleep , and a disgusting ice coffee .
Mean while I decide to call my uncle's wife to tell her that I'm on my way to the town , I pulled my phone and deal her number ...... " hello " she says. " oh hello .... Janet its me Jennifer you should know if you still have my phone number " I say . " oh ..... yeah I deleted it.... why are you calling ?" she asks . this bitch wow , I need to keep my nerves down .
" I called you because I am on my way to town , police officers there called me and told me about what happened to uncle jack which I am so sorry to hear that . and they asked me to come back and help investigate about the case " I explain
" what ? why they did ask for your help? And how you are going to help them ?" she asks angerly ... oh wait I never asked them about why me oh SHIT .. " so ummm.... I guess you didn't know but I work as detective right now and because he was my uncle it was like a unpai.." I say but she cuts me off " yeah so what you want ? " she asks plainly . " so ummm .... You knew when I get there I need a place to stay in so I was hopping that y" and then she cuts the call.
OMG , I was angry a minute ago now I am furious. I think I will be ending in a hotel or any thing , I just hope to find this killer really fast and come back .
After 4 hours .....
When the plane took off i felt like the air of the city choking me " I hate this town " I murmur .
When I reach outside the airport I find a police car with a police office next to it and let me tell you if this MAN was not standing next to this police car I will have thought that he is an actor or a model or something , he was tall like 6 ft maybe board shoulder and a nice mustache with beard and a beautiful blue eyes . I think I will love it here more than I thought .
When I reach him , he turned to me and crook his head at me " detective Jennifer ?" he asks , oh he looks even more handsome closer.....
" detective ?" he asks again .
" oh sorry my bad yeah its me detective Jennifer ..." I reach my hand to shake hands with him " sorry for that just tired from travelling " I say ... I'm just trying to give any excuse to not embarrassing myself .
" yeah of course , we will head to the police station first and then you can take rest " he says . " sure lets go " I say , We get in the car and We are heading to the police station .
"That will be a long month " I thought , I take a glance to the man next to me " but not a bad one" I murmur with a giggle . " did you say something ?" he asks" oh no nothing at all " I say.
I need to shut my mouth now .
