After 15 minutes we reached the police station , now I'm sitting in the sheriff office waiting for him to show up . I'm not excited at all to meet him to be honest I'm not even happy being in this city Ugh I just wanna leave .
10 other minutes passed by and I'm still waiting for him , and the police officer I meet before he had gone to grab me a coffee . I don't even know his name until now , I'm so weird for not asking for his name but anyway I'm not planning to stay here for so long .
Finally the sheriff has arrived , Wait what was his name ? shit . " detective Jennifer Oscar , isn't it ?" he says with a smile . " yeah its me sheriff nick " I say ... I don't think that was his name . He laughed and says " its rick, but its okay " what a greet first impression jeff very good . " I'm so sorry the flight was so exhausted " I say . " its okay I understand , I would love to give you the day off but you seem want to get back very soon if I'm correct " he says . damn I didn't know that its very obvious like that " oh hahaha yeah you know I have a lot of things undone back so yeah , I would prefer to finish the case very soon " I say
" I know I know " he says while grabbing his chin , he continues " I wish we can solve the case quicker as much as we could but its not that easy , we have been investigating this case for a 3 months now with nothing solved " he says " take a seat please" . that's weird " so that's mean there's no leads or any evidence or even suspects ?" I ask . " there's few leads about the 3 victims " he says and takes a deep breath and start talking again " so first we have our first victim which is ( liam cavill ) he was murdered in may 3 his body was found in his car , the second victim was ( david James ) he was murdered in June 15 and his body was found in his office and lastly your uncle mr (william Oscar ) in a place near his house " he says before he continues " I asked officer john to give you the filles of the 3 cases , did he give it to you ?" he asks " umm no no one gives me anything , and sorry but who officer john " I ask
The door of the office opens and the police officer who got me here enters the room ." there he is , that's officer john Robert " he says .OH so that's was his name " so john you didn't introduce yourself to her why man? " he says laughing " you both gonna continue working on this case together so you guys better talk and catch up about the case okay . I'm gonna leave you two to talk " he says the stands and gets out of the office.
After he leaves the silence was loud man that's so awkward , before I speak " sorry for not introducing myself earlier , I'm john Robert nice to meet you " he speaks first while extending his hand to me " its okay I'm Jennifer ,Jennifer Oscar nice to meet you too " I say while shaking his hands " so those are the files of the 3 cases and it has all the details about them you can read them and if you need any help with any think you can call me , here is my number " he offers , I take his number and the files and decided to study them after finding a place to stay in . maybe I can ask him to recommend to me any place here .
" so you don't know a good hotel to stay in " I ask him , he answers confused " I thought you gonna stay at your uncle's house " " no we really in not a good term and I don't wanna be a burden to them you know after my uncle's death " I answer , he still looking at me like he want to say something but holding himself " you seem to have something on your mind you can ask me you know " I ask with a smile feeling I'm gonna regret that " so ummm I know that you have a sister here , why don't you stay at her house? " he asks .
wait what ? how did he know about her ? " we really didn't speak much after our dad death , we kinda separated .she stayed here and I lived in LA " I say nervously " oh I'm sorry I didn't .." he says but I cut him off " I know its okay , but can you help me find a place to stay in " I ask " yeah of course I can , I have a friend who can find you a place . I will call him just wait a few minutes " he says " yeah of course take your time " I say with a tight smile .
I know coming here again was not a good idea , I really hope to finish this case really quick and go back . " I want to go back " I say whining .
