♡Gijinka!Meta Knight x reader (menstrual comfort)

A/N: This one was made sort of for myself as well as a dear friend, and ofc for any readers who may find this and love MK and can have a nasty time dealing with their periods especially as a transmasc. The reader is gender neutral btw <3 Reaperblood2510 hope you'd like this one as the ideas you had for it are super sweet!!
Anyways, onto the comfort shot!

     A fine morning, the sun rising over the singing, soft bright hills of Dreamland. Staying had been the best decision Y/N ever made. They've made plenty of friends and even found themself a partner, loved by the land's fiercest protector, Meta Knight. Many will look at the masked, winged war-forged man and think him incapable of being so kind, but it's true. Deep down he really is just a big softy for anyone he lets into his heart.
     With singing of birds and the bright light waking up Dreamland, the couple found themselves awake as well. Y/N yawned with a big stretch, being the first to step out of bed and go to get something for breakfast, only to have to sit back down for a moment when stabbing pain struck them in the abdomen. It felt like what they'd imagined being stabbed by Galaxia would feel like...but they knew what this meant.
     Upset and in pain Y/N made their way to the bathroom with a miserable groan. This time of the month always proved to be the worst, it ruined their whole week physically and mentally.  The groan ended up waking MK, worried about what it may have been about.
     "Are you alright?" He asked, knocking quietly on the bathroom door. "...yeah, as good as I can be at least," Y/N answered tiredly, coming out a few moments after. "...I suspect you were given an unpleasant surprise this morning, hm? Go back to bed," Meta demanded. He was never really mean with demanding things from his partner, but he had a little stern tone in his voice that could let anyone know easily he was serious. "But-" "No buts," he huffed as he cut Y/N off, "I mean it. Back to bed, I'll make you something to eat. I take the pain of others very seriously." "Yeah, I know," Y/N sighed, though smiled a little at Meta's behavior. Though he usually was like this whenever his beloved was sick or hurt, it still came as a pleasant surprise how much he prioritized taking care of them.
     Y/N went right back into the comfortable bed sheets with a relaxed sigh, wincing again as pain struck once more. They closed their eyes to try to doze a little before MK returned to the quiet, dim room. The smell of a sweet breakfast filled the room. Y/N sat up to eat, smiling sweetly at their dear, sweet partner bringing a nice tray of delicious pastries, a favorite breakfast, with some apple juice. "All my favorites," Y/N sighed, eagerly biting into a berry pastry. Meta nodded, "Of course, only the best for you, especially in such a time of need," he said, leaning over and placing a kiss on his love's forehead, Y/N able to feel the smile on his lips as they received the loving gesture. "Now, please enjoy your breakfast. I'll be back in a little while," MK said as he left the room, leaving the door cracked for Y/N to yell for him if he was needed.
     Y/N sat peacefully enjoying breakfast, which did help to take their mind off of everything for a moment. Though, they did feel a little lonely in that silent room by themself. They were about to call for MK before he came elegantly back into the room, carrying plenty more things in his arms.
     Blankets, pillows, a heat pad, some snacks, and quite a few books, all to make his dearest more comfortable. Y/N noticed a few of his books too, hoping it meant MK would stay to read with them. "Oh my, you really didn't have-" "Oh hush now," MK cut them off again, which earned him a little frustrated huff, "of course I had to, it's my duty to make sure you're as comfortable and happy as you can be when in such pain, I know how badly this affects you, and I want to aid you in getting through it."
     Y/N did have to admit this was really sweet, blushing a little at this kind gesture. They did appreciate the treatment, it did help them to feel better. MK placed the tray down somewhere out of the way, helping to place pillows and blankets to be as comfortable as possible, putting the books down where they could easily be accessed without much unnecessary movement. "Now, is there anything else I can do?" He asked. It's been made pretty clear acts of service was his main love language, but that was awfully sweet. "Well... you could stay and read with me. I think that would make me feel better the most," Y/N smiled lovingly to the bat-winged man. He returned the loving smile, nodding happily as he crawled into the bed next to his love, grabbing a book and getting comfortable as well. Y/N moved slightly to cuddle up against MK, sighing comfortably and opened up their own book, simply taking in the moment. They'd completely forgotten the pain and feeling of remembering what their current state was, it made them extremely thankful that Meta enjoyed taking care of them so much, it was truly needed this time. The two read for hours in the quiet, snacking occasionally and only really moved for more snacks. It was peaceful, painless. Quiet and warm, just what was needed.

     Y/N sighed and turned to MK, nothing but love and appreciation in their eyes. "Yes? Would you like anything else, mi corazón?" MK asked, noticing them moving. "No, nothing.. I just wanted to tell you that I love you," their smile widened, placing a loving kiss to Meta's cheek. His yellow eyes softened, returning the kiss with a loving one to Y/N's lips, his smile wider than theirs. "I love you too, I'm glad I could help you today, and I plan to do the same tomorrow." Y/N chuckled, nudging their forehead sweetly into his neck, beginning to doze off a little. "Hm... I look forward to it..."
