You all slump once you're far enough away to not be seen. You flop down on the ground, chest heaving while Levi stands over you. He had let go of the boy, who was hopping a fence with Levi's coin purse in tow. He waves at all of you gratefully.

"Don't expect any nice dinners," Levi says looking down at you. How is he not even breaking a sweat. You know the stamina of this man more than anyone, but are still blown away every time he proves it.

...

You hole up in a safe space with ambassador Azumabito. You sit on a big leather couch, probably too close to Levi for his own comfort, but you are desperate for the slightest touch from him. Even the graze of his hand might send you over the edge.

Looking at him in that suit is making you salivate.

"You go and tell them that Paradis seeks peace. The Azumabito clan wants to aid in this peace, but how likely do you think it's going to be?" The ambassador asks.

"With all that in mind, all we can do here is try our best," Hange responds confidently.

"Where's Eren?" Mikasa asks suddenly. You all look around and realize, Eren missed the whole conversation. You wondered when he left the room, maybe you were so distracted with Levi, you hadn't even noticed if he had entered the room.

Mikasa stands to leave and the rest of you aren't far behind. Eren is public enemy number one in Marley, you weren't sure why he was even coming on this expedition. It would have been safer to just leave him at home.

You see Mikasa standing with Eren on the top of a hill, overlooking a refugee camp. "You moron!" Jean shouts out to Eren.

A strange man is also there, he must be a refugee. He leads your group down to his tent, where he places a cup in front of Eren, urging for him to drink. You have no idea if you can trust these people. Anyone on this island could be an enemy, but you were all invited into his tent. You all turn to Eren in shock as he swallows the contents of the glass in seconds, wiping his mouth when he's done.

The old man places another cup in front of all of you. Everyone except Levi, tentatively takes a sip. It's really good. It tastes way better than the wine from within the walls. You aren't sure what it is, but you take Levi's glass and finish it for him, so your host doesn't think him to be rude.

Your host also generously serves you food and more beverages. Levi puts his hand over his cup after you've downed your third. You feel your cheeks flushing and your words are starting to slur when you say, "Hey! D-don't be wasteful!"

You're overcome with shock when Levi tilts the glass to his lips. In all the time you've known the man, he's never had a drink. You nuzzle up next to him and sloppily kiss his jaw, "Is Levi getting drunk tonight?" You whisper seductively in his ear.

Levi's eyes are wide and his body is rigid when you touch him, shocked at being able to be seen by anyone.

You push the cup to Levi's lips and he obeys, taking another chug. You feel his body grow less rigid and start to relax once he's three-quarters done with the cup. His cheeks are pinker than they were before and he's leaning into you a bit for support.

"You're a lightweight," you laugh at him and finish the rest of his drink for him.

"I'll show you a lightweight," Levi whispers into your ear.

After many more rounds, your comrades start to slip off to sleep, leaning up against each other on the floor. You find a blanket and Levi and you stumble over bodies to a cozy corner. You both lay down and pull the blanket up over the both of you. He brings his arm over your waist and nudges your head to rest the other under your neck. He's holding you tightly and you can feel his slow breathing beginning to stir heat within you.
