Caspian quietly shut the door and turned around. Before he could take a step forward, he felt his body bump into someone. He looked up, fearing that it was Cassius. Caspian was relieved to see Annarel standing in front of him.

Caspian- Oh.. It's you! Hey!

Caspian looked down to see that he was holding the wand in front of him. He quickly put it behind his back, out of view of Annarel.

Annarel- What was that?

Caspian- What was what?

Annarel- The thing you just hid behind your back?

Caspian- I don't know what you're talking about?

Annarel- Show me your hands then.

Caspian pulled his empty left hand from behind his back.

Annarel- Show me your other hand.

Caspian put his left hand behind his back, swapped the wand into his left hand, and pulled his right hand out from behind his back. He wiggled his fingers in a sly manner.

Annarel- Ha ha, smartass. Show me!

Annarel reached behind Caspian's back and pulled his arm out. Her eyes widened when she saw the wand in his grasp.

Annarel- What are you doing?!

Caspian- I'm using this to help Berg do magic.

Annarel- How is stealing Cassius' wand going to help Berg?!

Caspian- Well, the idea was that he would use it to focus and therefore his confidence would be boosted.

Annarel- Ugh...

Annarel turned around and walked down the hall. At first, Caspian thought Annarel had opted to ignore the situation. That was until he noticed that she walked past her room.

Caspian- What are you doing? Where are you going?

Annarel- To find Cassius.

Caspian quickly jogged toward her and jumped in front of her.

Caspian- Find Cassius? Why would you want to do that?

Annarel- Because, this is reckless. He needs to know what you are doing.

Caspian- Come on, Annarel. I'm just going to let Berg use it to levitate a small amount of water. That's it. I'll put it back when I'm done.

Annarel- Cool. If it's not that big of a deal, Cassius won't mind it.

Annarel tried to push past Caspian to no avail. She moved to her right, he moved to his left. She moved to her left, he went right.

Annarel- You're being childish.

Caspian- Me?! Childish?! I'm the one tattling on people. Come on, Annarel. Lighten up. Why can't you just help me train Berg instead of trying to get brownie points with Cassius.

Annarel looked at Caspian with a frown and crossed arms. He was giving her puppy dog eyes to try to persuade her.

Annarel- Ugh, fine! But only because I want to help Berg. If Cassius catches us, I'm pretending that I don't know anything about this.

Caspian- We've got a deal. Come on, Berg is downstairs.

Annarel followed Caspian through the house and into the basement. Berg was standing next to the statue, looking at all of the bits of armor he had tried to put back together. The helmet was crooked, the chestplate was dented, and one gauntlet was placed backwards. Berg turned around to see Caspian and Annarel walking into the basement.
