Caspian and Berg stared at Annarel with shocked expressions. Annarel carefully stepped over the unconscious guard and smiled at them.

Berg- Annarel!

Berg dashed over and pulled Annarel into a tight hug. With her legs leaving the floor as he lifted her, she exhaled intensely from the tight squeeze.

Berg- I knew you wouldn't abandon us!

Annarel's face began to turn red. She repeatedly patted Berg's arm to get him to put her down. He eased up and sat her back down on her feet.

Annarel- It's good to see you too, Berg.

Annarel took a quick moment to catch her breath before looking in Caspian's direction.

Annarel- Hey..

Caspian gave a light nod with pursed lips. His eyes didn't quite meet her gaze except for a few brief moments of eye contact.

Caspian- You decided to come along?

Annarel- And you decided to rummage through underwear drawers?

Caspian looked down at his hands and realized that he was still holding the underwear. He quickly dropped them and shoved his hands in his pockets.

Annarel- I couldn't bring myself to abandon you guys. Teamwork, right?

Caspian- Yeah... Teamwork.

Annarel looked at Berg and then back to Caspian. An awkward silence filled the room as Annarel waited for someone to speak up.

Annarel- So, is anyone going to tell me what the next step of the plan is?

Caspian- Oh, right! Um.. I was trying to find where the guards kept their armor. The plan was to put the armor on and use the disguise to get through the Sentinels at the gateway.

Annarel- That's the dumbest... I mean, do you really think it will work?

Caspian- I think it's worth a shot. But, if you have any other ideas.

Annarel- No, go ahead. You take the lead on this one.

Caspian- Thanks. Um.. Alright, spread out and find where the guards keep their armor.

The trio quickly began turning the whole barrack over, looking through every nook and cranny. After a few minutes of searching, Berg called out to the other two.

Berg- Cas, Annarel, I found it!

Caspian turned around to see Berg standing on the other side of the barrack. He stood in front of a large wardrobe full of different armor and uniforms.

Caspian- Finally! Now we can pull off this plan without a hitch.

Annarel approached the wardrobe and looked at the contents inside.

Annarel- Actually, we might have overlooked a slight hitch.

Caspian- What?

Annarel- Did you think about Berg's size? He'll never fit into any metal armor.

Berg- Are you calling me fat?

Annarel- No, I'm just stating the obvious... Your race is huge.

Caspian- I'm sure he can squeeze into one.

Caspian walked over and picked up a chest plate from the wardrobe. He held it out in front of him, trying to estimate how much of Berg's body would fit inside of the armor.

Caspian- Maybe.. We could possibly... Nevermind, you might be right. Here, Annarel, you take this one.

Caspian handed the chestpiece to Annarel before shuffling through the other contents of the wardrobe. He picked up the largest uniform shirt he saw.
