Chapter 14

SPHINX PROV

Where the hell could she be? You should of marked her already and we wouldn't have this problem, idiot. it too soon she would freak the fuck out if I did that. besides she just got attacked by one so I dont think she wants us to bite her anytime soon. uhh i want my mate! I do too but your going to have to wait.

After I cut off my wolfs connection I got a faded wift of that delicious smell. it got stronger the the more I followed it down the hallway. the more I got closer the more my stomach began to be unsettled. As I got to a red door I caught the smell of four other men, at this point my wolf was just begging to come out and with the acidic taste that has gotten caught on my tongue I knew there was going to be one hell of a blood thirsty fight once I opened the door.

I tried to listen to the talking on the other side but I couldn't handle it no more I kicked down the door and the sight that I saw made my heart clench and all I saw was red. There were four men in the room as I entered two to the right sitting on a couch and one to the left in a lounge chair. The other was standing right next to Jordan where she was tied to a chair. all four men looked surprised to see me. the one in the lounge chair came at me. I throat jabbed him and than ended his life quickly by grabbing his neck and twisting "hard." Than the two guys on the couch tried to double team me by coming at me all at once. I punched the first guy and than hit him with an upper cut. I than hit the second guy straight in the nose instantly killing him. the first guy than I guess extended his claws and went for my throat. I squatted and did a spinning kick. Allowing him to fall straight on his ass. By this time the guy that was standing next to Jordan I guess decided he wanted a piece of the action. I smirked as he came at me and I gave him a right hook and two jabs he was knocked the fuck out. I than back kicked the guy that landed on his ass. he than bumped into a coffee table. There was a gun on the table he picked it up and was getting ready to aim it at me when out of no where a knife got plunged into the shooters head. I went over to the shooter and than snapped his neck and took the knife out of his head. I than turned around to see Jordan with her hands on her hips untied and Ponting to the knife to have it back. the only three words that could come to my head were

"what the fuck?"

JORDAN PROV

I'm pisst I haf everyth ing under control before he broke down the door. Besides Gunner told his men he would be back in twenty minutes which made me feel a lot better once he left the room. just because im blonde and doesn't mean im afraid to break a freaking nail. im not fucking fragile I can take care of my self. oh big surprise the blonde knows how to throw knives. heaven forbid if she knows how to defend her self too all hell will break loose with this asshole.

You know how to throw knives? Seriously he's going to ask me that he just saw me throw one. Ugh. All I want is my knife back its my favorite one I carry everywhere.

As I walked over to him and took my knife the asshole must of been still in shock because all he did was stare at me. I raised my eyebrow and he seemed to snap out of it. he than adked me if I knew how to do other things too. I smiled evilishly and chuckled a little at him. he has no clue what im capable of. being raised in a military house hold with a protective father you learn at a young age how to defend yourself from assholes.

he began to walk over to me when the we heard vioce coming from down the hall. Sphinx adomaticlly went into protection mode and shoved me behind him. I rolled my eyes seriously I just took out one guy with a fucking knife! Ugh! men! the voices faded some. I guess they werent some of Gunners men. Sphinx than grabbed my hand and began to tug to towards the door. I pulled out of his grip and narrowed my eyes at him. I must of pisst him off since his eyes turned a golden color really fast but than it went away. I rolled my eyes and pushed past him and made my way down the hall. He caught up to me pretty quick and grabbed my rist and yanked me around. Allowing our bodies to collide into each other. he than did something that I leadt expected he kissed me. I thought it would of been ruff but it wasn't it was nice and soft and continual. my stomach got all warm and fuzzy just like when you throw back a shot of whiskey. when he finally ended it I could feel my eyes glazed over and foggy. I grabbed at his shirt and pulled him into me ruff and smashed my lips onto his. this time the kiss was ruff and full of fire and sexual need. I didnt realize it but he had my body against a wall with his tongue fighting mine for dominance. I finally gave up and just let go. he transmitted me up and I rapped my legs around his waist. he pulled away and started kissing down my neck I was sooo turned on it hurt. I leaned my neck to the left to give him more access but as I did three of gunners goons came around the corner luckily I put my knife back into it holder which was rapped around my left thigh. I chucked it and mad a direct hit by this time Sphinx realized what was going on and put me down. the two other guys came at him he knocked one guy in the throat while he jabbed up at the other guys nose killing him instantly and than twisting the guy he it before neck. the only thing that popped into my head was dont mess with the alpha. I grabbed my knife again out of the other guys head and Sphinx than grabbed my hand and we flew down the stairs leaving the three dead bodies in the hallway.
