Damian was the first to see me. Oh my god we need to get you to a doctor asap. I looked at him in a duh look like I already new that. We can take her to the pack doctor. Sandy will know whats going on with her throat. I nodded nodded agreement and Jake, Jade, Emily, Nancy, and I got into the hummer with Damian driving and Ollie in the passenger seat. Daisy said he will follow in the truck.

OLLIE PROV

Shit. Shit. This is all my fault. If I just kept my mouth shut Mia would be ok but instead we are going to the pack doctor. Did you call Sandy yet to tell her we are on our way over? No ill do it right now.

Hey Sandy we are headed your way. Sphinx mate got hurt last night when we got into a fight with some rogues.

Oh my god is she ok?
Yeah... one of the rogues got a hold of her neck and there is some massive briuses and when she trys to talk serious pain hurts her.

Ok. Come straight to my office ill have Deaks clear my schedule. Hopefully its not what I think it is but hurry and get here with her the more she goes without proper treatment the morning risk she takes of having permanent damage.

Damian step on it. If it gets a little bumpy bavk thier hold on you guys. We took a hard left the another. With Damian driving we got to the ten minutes. We rushed Mia into the building. Sandy was waiting at the door for us. She smiled at Mia and told her who she was and that she was just going to take a few test. Mia nodded and followed her inside. Now that Mia was here I was going to have to deal with the hard part and call and tell Sphinx hopefully he doesn't kill me when he gets here.

How much longer dad I want to get back to Mia. Plus im getting this wierd feeling something is wrong. Relax my boy if something was wrong Ollie would of called you by now. As the words left my fathers mouth my phone began to buzz. I took a deep breath and awnsered it. Hey Sphinx we are at the pack doctor with Mia right now her throat is really briuses from last nights incident with Gunner. Im on my way ill be there in five minutes. Oh and one more thing Sphinx she cant talk. Ill fill you in once you get here just try to stay calm.

I got to go Mia is probably freaking out. Go head son I'll finish the rest of the party plans. Thanks pop and with a kiss on my moms check I was out the door faster than a race horse. The pack doctor's office isn't far from the pack house so I made it there in five minutes. I slammed both of the doors to the office open and waltz in. Where is Mia I demanded. A short scrawny boy with glasses. Walked over to me. Alpha please try to calm done we have other patients besides your mate that need rest so just settle down. I began to growl when Sandy poped out of a room down the hall. She shookes her head than pointed a finger at me and told me to come here. You cant just barge into my office and start screaming like a spoiled little kid. Now calm down. Mia's fine ibjust got done checking her throat out. Looks like that rouge really did a number on her throat she's lucky he didnt collapse her lungs. She will be able to recover but she wont be able to talk for a solid three days and even thats a maybe. After Sandy and I talked for ten minutes about what I could do to help the healing process she let me enter the room Mia was in. When I saw her throat my heart about died. Her neck was covered in purples blues and greens. I asked her where everyone one was at but from the roll of her eyes and the pionting to her throat I felt completely stupid. I than got an Idea and left the room but first told her not to leave. I than walked over to the scrawny teenager for a pen and some paper. He gave them to me and then went back to what he was doing as if I wasnt important. I walked back back Mia's room and gave her the pen and paper. She started to write sonething down and than shower me. It said everyone went to get something to eat. I nodded and than asked her if she liked all the flowers i got her. She started writing again, when she stopped and showed me whay she wrote I smiled. I than adked her if she was hungry hungry wanted to go get something to eat. She nodded and I ushered her out to my car. She stopped in front of the Porsche and started writing. When she showed me what she wrote I started laughing. Yes the Porsche is mine and yes you could say my family is pretty wealthy. She gave me a wierd look and I just opened her door and ignored it. So Sandy said you cant eat anything but soup for at least three days. Her eyes got wide and she looked sad. My heart began to break. Well lucky to you I know the best place to get some soup thats awesome possums. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I just started laughing again. Its a saying my mom liked to use when i was really young I guess the saying just stuck with me over the years. She smiled and started writing on her note pad.

I tried to glance at what she was writing but she pulled the note pad back so I couldn't. After she was done writing she showed me what she wrote. Tell me more about your family. My heart began to flutter as I told her about my family.

Well my parents met in Egypt. My dad was on vacation while my mom was the curator of the museum. Once my dad saw her he knew she was the one. They fell in love at first glance. It wasn't until two weeks later they found out my mom was pregnant with me. They were overly happy but my dad was due to be back to his pack that Saturday. So he asked my mom to marry him and they moved to the states soon after. Once they knew I was a boy my mom had the idea to call me an Egyptian name since Egypt was were they met so thats how they came up with my name.

After I was done with my parents story Mia looked at me in awe. Then she had this look in her eyes. I was getting ready to ask her when i realized we were at our destination. Its a hole in the wall I have only brought the guys to but there clam chowder is like the bomb plus its right next to the lake were your able to see the reflection of the sun as it starts to fall behind the rolling hills. Its also were I cone to think when im troubled by something. I was lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize Mia had gotten out of the Porsche and was taking it all in. I asked her if she liked it. She wrote it was beautiful. I smiled as I walked over and took her hand and led her into the restaurant.

Mia PROV
This place is super cool. It sucks I cant talk but it allows me to kick back and just take everything in for what it is. I will admit I was a little mean to Sphinx when he cane into the doctors room. It was since to have someone care for me like he did but I hate to be smothered to death. What surprised me was the Porsche 911 turbo obviously this guy if from a very wealthy family which makes me for some reason very uncomfortable. If you cant tell im a very insecure person but I would like to say I hide it pretty good. Anyway on the rife to get food. He tells me ill be on soup for three days my heart died. I love food and hate soup well except for clam chowder thats my favorite. After I get over the no food thing he started to talk about his family. They seem like very happy and exciting people. I then started to question if I would find that kind of love that his parents have.
Doubt it.
But I could always be wishful.
As we came to a stop I started to look around. It was very woodsy and smelled like it too. The restaurant was nearly not as big as I would of expected but had a sitting deck area where you can look over the lake it was just nice and calming. As I was lost in my thoughts I didnt notice Sphinx took my hand was pulling me towards the entrance of the restaurant. We were seated on the deck overlooking the lake. He told me how this is his favorite place to come and just relax and think. It was nice of him to be sharing all this with me it made me feel special. We ordered and he asked me about my family. I wrote that there isn't much to tell dad was in the army knew mom from high school and then they got together for a short time and got married. They had me and than they had Jade. He seemed a little agitated I wasn't giving him any details but he tried not to show it. Just as our meals arrived his cell phone went off he looked at the calls ID and let it go to vioce mail. Ir was nice danny always awnsered his phone when I was with him and it was very irritating simce he was suppose to be spending time with me. Sphinx grabbed my hand and asked if I was ok. I nodded of course but the smiled didnt reach my eyes. He decided not to invade on my thoughts which I appreciated. We ate and he talked some more about what happen last night. He was understanding and patient he even answered all my questions I wrote down. We didn't talk at all after he explained he was a werewolf and they exist and etc. In all honestly it was a lot to talk in especially the whole mate thing. I just got out of a relationship for crying out loud the last thing I wanted was to be dragged into another one. Plus in all honesty I dont beliebe in soul mates or true love. It frankly doesn't exist. After we were done eating we left the restaurant and headed back to his cabin I guess since thats were everyone is staying now. All I can say is with all this new information I feel ad if my heart is on the verge of a heart attack.
