Chapter 38: I Love When You're Home

Kelly's POV

"Riley, daddy is performing right now and you need to go to sleep." I said fighting her because she won't go to bed. "No, I want to see daddy first." She screamed. The boys set time got changed last minute so Vic couldn't face time to say goodnight. "Riley, you go to bed right now or we won't go to Disney with your aunts tomorrow." I said. She screamed and started crying. I got up and shut her door. I sighed and walked to my room just letting her cry. I don't know how I will be able to do this with two kids. I climbed into my bed and Alex called me. "Hey, is she asleep?" he asked. "No, she is currently crying because she wants Vic." I said. "They just went on. They should be off in an hour." He said. "She will have cried herself to sleep by then." I said. "It will get easier. She will understand when she gets older." He said. "What if she never does? What if this happens every time we can't be with him?" I asked. "I don't know honey. Just stay up until you know she is asleep and then go to bed." He said. "I know. Have a good show." I said. "Goodnight Kelly." He said. "Night Alex." I said hanging up the phone. I sat in bed scrolling through Tumblr when Riley came in with her eyes all red and cheeks swollen. She climbed up in bed with me and cried some more. "I know you miss daddy sweetie but we will see him soon." I said kissing her head. She nodded. I got a face time call from Jess. I answered it and it was the boys playing. Riley looked at my phone. "Hey everybody thanks for coming out today. My beautiful wife and little girl are back home about to go to bed so I want to say goodnight Kelly and Riley. I love you both and I will see you soon. This next song is for you Riley. I love you baby girl." Vic said. Riley smiled and climbed under the covers and held my phone. Vic sang the acoustic version of Hold Onto May. Riley was soon fast asleep. I sighed and thanked Jess. I hung up the phone and shut off the light. I lied down and Riley cuddled into my side. Soundwave is over today technically over there but the boys have press to do the next day. I fell asleep and Riley clung to my side. I woke up and smelt coffee. I looked and saw Riley next to me. I was scared. I grabbed the baseball bat I kept under the bed that I kept there for when Vic isn't here. I walked down stairs and heard Alysha singing. I sighed and put the bat down. I walked into the kitchen and found her making breakfast. "Morning mama." She said. "Morning." I yawned. "Heard it was a rough night." She said. I nodded. She handed me a plate of toast, eggs and tempura sausage. "I love you so much right now." I said digging in. "Gotta keep my little nephew healthy." She said. "Six more months. Vic is hoping that a tour won't come up during the month I'm due." I said sounding upset. "There isn't much he can do though. This is his job and this is how he provides for you, Riley and soon to be Little Fuentes." She said. I nodded. "I just don't want him to miss the birth again." I said feeling like I was about to cry. "Kelly, look at me. We both know he will be there no matter what. He loves you and he loves this baby." She said. I nodded and hugged her. "Mommy." I heard Riley say as she came down the stairs. "Hi sweetie." I said lifting her up into a chair. "Auntie Alysha." She said smiling. "Hey short stuff." She said hugging her. Alysha gave her a plate of breakfast and I went to get ready for the day. I took a nice hot shower and got dressed. I put my hair up and went back downstairs. I found Katelynne had arrived with the kids. Coco smiled at me and waddled over to hug me. I picked her up and hugged her. "Alysha took Riley upstairs to get dressed." Katelynne said. I nodded. "Erin got called into work last second so it is just us." She also said. "Okay, I am sure she will just be happy with all of us. Mostly Rowan." I said. Liam snickered. "Liam was joking to Rowan earlier about how he likes Riley." Katelynne said. I chuckled. Riley came running downstairs and tackled Rowan. I laughed and we all headed out to the car. We started the drive to Disney. "Aunty Kelly, could Riley sleep over tonight?" Rowan asked. "As long as it is okay with your mom." I said. "Sure but you all are going to bed at 8 unless your name is Copeland. You cutie pie are going to bed at seven." Katelynne said. Copeland pouted. "That cutie pie is going to be one in a few months." I said smiling. Coco smiled. We got to Disney and the kids were so excited. We climbed out of the car and headed inside. Riley and Rowan ran straight to find Peter Pan. Alysha took off running after them. I held Liam's hand and we went to do things with Copeland. I felt hands cover my eyes. I elbowed the person and heard a groan. I turned around and saw Vic. I squealed and kissed him. I looked over and saw Liam hugging Kellin. "How are you back?" I asked. "I told the press that we would reschedule." He said. I smiled and he held me in his arms. "Did Mike go to find Alysha?" I asked. He nodded. "Well Riley will know you are back." I said with a sigh of relief. "What's wrong?" he asked. "It was a hard few days without you. Riley was a little difficult. She really loves you." I said. "I guess I will have to talk to her." He said. I nodded. I heard screaming and saw Riley running through the crowd towards us. I moved out of the way and Vic caught her. I smiled and Kellin came over to hug me. "I missed you." He said. "I missed you too." I said. "How's my little nephew?" he asked. "I don't why you all keep calling it a boy. Yes, we were told it might be a boy but could we please wait until we find out for sure what it is." I said. Kellin nodded. "I'm sorry the hormones are starting to kick in." I said. He nodded hugging me. I watched Vic head off with Riley. He looked at me and nodded. He was going to talk to her. Liam smiled up at me and took my hand. He pulled me over to the Buzz Lightyear Ride. Rowan followed and I waved Katelynne and Kellin goodbye.

Vic's POV

I sat Riley down at the table then brought over a sundae that we were going to share. "Sweetie, you know I hate being away from you." I said. She nodded eating the ice cream. "When I leave you it is work so I can make money for us to live and be able to do all the things we do. I am trying to provide for us and I know that it is hard for you to understand sweetie but you can't come with me all the time. I know it is hard but it will get easier. I just need you to be good for mommy. Your sibling is going to come in a few months and he or she will need more attention. So when it is just you, your mom and your sibling you will need to help her out. I need you to be a big girl for daddy and be good for mommy when I can't be at home. I am going to try and be home for you both and have you with me on tour when I can." I said. She nodded. "I just don't like when you aren't there at night to scare away the monsters or sing me to sleep." She said. "But you have your mommy. She loves you very much. I am always a phone call away sweetheart but if I am on stage performing then you will have to fight the monsters yourself. I know you can defeat them. You are strong girl." I said. She nodded and got up to hug me. I held her in my arms and kissed her head. "Now how about we go ride the Peter Pan ride." I said. "Can we finish the sundae first?" she asked. "Of course." I said. We finished eating the ice cream and went on the ride. After a long day at the park we all headed home. Mike and Alysha headed back to their place and Katelynne and Kellin said goodnight. I changed Riley into her PJs and put her to bed. I headed to my room and found Kelly looking at nursery ideas. "So I was thinking when we find out the gender of the baby this week we can paint the nursery." She said. "I would like that." I said kissing her. "Have you thought of names?" She asked. "Well I was wondering if I could pick the girl's name and you could pick the boy's name." I said. "If we have a boy I still want to name him Victor Vincent Jr." she said. I smiled and kissed her. "I like the name Camilla Mariela Fuentes." I said. "That sounds beautiful." She said kissing me. She rested her head against my shoulder. "I love when you are home." She said. "I love when I am home too." I said. I laid us down and pulled her to my chest. She kissed my chest and slowly fell asleep as I hummed Heart On Fire to her. When I saw her fully asleep, I reached over and shut off the lights then going to bed myself.
