i had basically closed the world off for the past few weeks after hearing the news about Quan i didn't want to go to the hood. i knew everyone knew and if they see me looking a mess, they will instantly know it was because of Quan anytime i looked a mess it was because of Quan. i rolled over grabbing my phone going to Quan mother Angie name and dialing it kaiser was with Quan parents. so, i had time to be depressed without it affecting my son an, but i needed to check on my baby.
mama ang: hey daughter how is you?
me: I'm fine just checking on my big boy.
mama ang: oh, he right here with Tanisha and Quan playing around.
me: uhm Tanisha
mama Ang: yeah, Quan fiancé oh you should come over it would be a perfect time you two meet and plus your mom should be coming with her cobbler.
one thing about Ang if she had the opportunity to stir up some mess, she surely would she was half the reason why i always caught Quan cheating on me or messing with some hoe.
me: uhm alright can i bring a plus one.
mama: a plus... uhm okay sure baby
me: ill be there by five do i need to grab anything
mama ang: no ma'am just your beautiful face
we said our goodbyes before i ran to get ready and decide what i was going to wear and who the hell was i going to bring as my plus one. i had about nearly three hours to figure all of this shit out my hair looked a mess everything was a mess. i ran around frantically around my house because why did i agree to this mess. mama ang always pulled me in and it was really hard to tell her no. i looked at my phone before calling kat.
kat: Yess
me: I'm going to meet the fiancé today.
kat: ohhhhhhh what you gone do.... i would ask you to come but I'm can't I'm at the hospital girl she groaned.
me: the hospital are you okay.
kat: yes, my dad just fell again, and he refuses to get any nurses chile so I'm sitting up here waiting for him to get discharged.
me: omg I'm sorry to hear that after i get dressed ill come up there to check on you before this whole dinner thing.
kat: that would be much appreciated thank you.
we hung up the phone and i decided to get dressed before heading to the hospital to check on kat. i had finally arrived at the hospital getting out pulling my dress down. i walked in greeting my people at the front desk i walked in finding kat sitting in the waiting room.
"ohhh girl you look good," she clapped i just embraced her i knew how hard it was with her dealing with her dad's health issues and all. "i needed that" she smiled i sat beside giving her the run down on what was going on and how i basically lied to mama ang.
"So, where are you going to find a man at," she asked i shrugged i was completely out of options. every little fling i did have i just never want to see outside of the bedroom.
"And the worst part is i will be going to dinner with my face in my lap... looking like a sad single mother whose baby father is about to get married" i huffed putting my face in her lap kat chuckled rubbing my head right before my guy Anthony came running down on me.
