"I'm getting cramps now there's literally a pillow beside you." A deep voice woke Mellisa up and she immediately stopped shifting and kept still. She opened her eyes and thankfully she seemed to be faced away from the voice owner. She looked at the curtains and they were red and open. It didn't look like it was the morning, the sun was shining like it was..midday? Mellisa shot up, "Omg omg I'm late." She flew out the bed, "It's a Saturday." "Oh hell no. I work on a Saturday too, well sometimes. Mr Ben Parker can't handle- where's my shirt?"

"I'm sure dad will manage, you're hungover and need to rest." Mellisa sighed. "Sadly he can't, your dad- your dad?!" She turned so fast she almost got a whiplash. Her eyes bulged and mouth dropped.

"Cai? Cai what am I doing in your room?" She shouted and Cai flew out the bed and put his hand over her mouth. "Whoa whoa shush. So much noise?" Mellisa bit his hand and he flinched away. "Bitch answer me, what in the holy fuck am I doing in your room?!" Cai smirked. "Well last night, Eugene dropped you guys off and one thing led to another-" "Ew ew ew ew. With you? Omg! Hell noooooo." Mellisa yelled holding a hand to her forehead in frustration.

"Wait am I that bad? Also no not in the way you think. I told y'all to not get drunk on expensive alcohol now-" Mellisa cut Cai off by kicking him on his shin.

"Next time start off by saying that dickwad." She yelled and walked away.

Mellisa didn't remember what happened last night after the first batch of shots, she never got that drunk she even blacked out? Where was Fez and Camilla?

She opened her room and found a passed out Fezeka on her bed. "Oh she's here, but where's Camilla?" She wondered to herself. "She's in Eugene's room." Fezeka mumbled and sat up. "Where did you sleep?" Fezeka asked and Mellisa's throat went dry. Does she tell her the truth? She changed her last night's outfit so that means she couldn't have slept in here so she doesn't know.

"I slept here, just stepped out. Felt nauseous and a Tylenol." She lied rummaging through her closet to avoid looking at her friend. Fezeka scoffed. "I slept in here Mellisa, and you didn't. I stepped out for a shower... you're..still in yesterday's clothes and you literally have your own bathroom. Where'd you go vomit?" Fezeka said walking to Mellisa and folding her arms.

"I was in Cai's room." She said with a sigh. "Cai? Cai Parker? What?!" Fezeka asked shocked. "I don't what happened. What really happened when we came back? Or at the club?" Mellisa asked sitting down. "Nothing nothing. We just partied, Cai came to join us later and we left. You said you were going to pee and I left you and came to sleep." She said and Mellisa shook her head. "Omg did yall-" "Oh no no, hell no. I was clothed. And it doesn't feel like we did anything." Melissa cut Fezeka in.

"Okay that's a relief. I'd have charged for sexual assault. Drunk people can't consent." Fezeka said and Mellisa nodded. She was glad that they didn't do anything or else she'd be in big trouble.

A phone cut off Mellisa's thoughts, "Oh shit." She said once she saw the Caller ID, she pressed answer anyway. She knew she was gonna regret this but there was no way she was going to avoid it.

"Hello mom." She said. "Oh hello Lisa my baby, how are you doing? How's the big Apple? How's the new job? You need to send pictures of you in a courtroom or outside. We really miss you and I need to show Jane's mother that you're doing well. You're my only daughter I need to boast." Mellisa chuckled. That was her mother alright. "Take a breath mom and I'm fine. We're not allowed to take pictures inside the court but I'll make sure to send one when I'm outside. How is everyone?" Mellisa was shocked at herself how the lie flew out smoothly. Fezeka was holding in her laugh at the corner of the bed.

It was about to be one one hell of a long call with explanations of how everyone from the family was doing. Truthfully, Mellisa needed it. She could speak to her siblings if time permitted but it didn't.
