"Mr Ben-" "You're what? Is this a sick joke?" Ben yelled. "Mr Ben you're scaring Caden."

"Oh spare me, he's a damn homosexual he seen it all. When were you planning on telling me all this Mellisa?"

"I was supposed to tell you not her, it's not her secret to tell." Caden said, Mellisa and Harlyn both nodded. "And is that punk your boyfriend?" Ben asked a little calmer. Caden was cut off by Camilla barging into the room and marching to stand Infront of Mellisa.

"My family takes you in from wherever puts of poor Africa they picked you and take you in, give you a job, pay you and basically help you and that made you forget your purpose in this house really. You come on here take my man and threaten him to lie to me? What do you think this is Mellisa? A freaking movie?" Camilla yelled pointing at a confused Mellisa. "What? What are you talking about?" Eugene barged in the room just as Camilla opened his mouth. "Baby let her go. It's nothing really." "Oh no I'm not. You think I don't know you got your grabby hands on Eugene and told him to lie to me that Maeve paid him to date me so we can break and you can snatch him again? You're evil Mellisa can't believe I wanted to make you my friend." Camilla clicked his tongue and left.

Mellisa didn't know how to react it was as if her brain was short circuiting, everything was glitching. Caden's face was red, Ben's face looked guilty and Harlyn looked like he wanted to cry for Mellisa. "What just happened? Is it true Mellisa?" Caden asked and Mellisa shooked her head. "N-no, no it's not. I need a moment." She said and immediately walked out and went to her room. What was happening? Everything change in a span of hours and it was as if she was watching it from a third person's view.

"Knock knock." She didn't respond cause she want in the mood for visitors. "It's Cai and Cash, you know. Your baby? And we're here to cheer you up!" Cai said in baby talk and Cash cooed after as if trying to add on his words. Mellisa smiled and wiped her tears. "Come here baby, come here." She said taking Cash off Cai's hands. "I actually forgot about my job for some reason." She awkwardly laughed and Cai just smiled. "I know what Camilla did was uncalled for. I'm sorry." He said sitting next to her, Mellisa felt like crying again, this time she felt like wailing. She did infact like Camilla and considered her a friend, she doesn't know what exactly Eugene told her but a stretch of manipulation was going on. It doesn't matter now, Camilla hated her.

"You don't have to apologize really. You're not the one who said all those things, and she kinda was right." Cai looked at her. "I wanted Eugene, I had a crush on him and I thought it was reciprocated. And I did forget that I'm just the help, as you used to say." Cai visibly cringed after Mellisa said that and Mellisa laughed. "I regret that, I was a jackass. I'm sorry. Also Eugene led you on, and he lied to my sister. You felt like family cause we treated you like family you didn't impose on us." He said and Mellisa nodded. "Anyways, I'll talk to Camilla. She needs to apologize. Also I'm feeling generous today so a hug?" He said awkwardly opening his arms and Melissa giggled and hugged him back. "Thank you Cai." She whispered and Cai just hummed softly.
