"A double date? Me and Cai aren't even dating?" Melissa exclaimed loudly. Camilla laughed "Yes but just to keep us company, we can't ask Ben and Maeve can we? And Fezeka is single. We've been wanting to do a double date for a while. Pleaseeeeeeee, please Mellisa? I'll take Cash off your hands for like a week." Mellisa sighed "He's my job Camilla, you can't do that." she folded her hands. "I'll give you that black dress, and a new Make up kit, expensive, top quality. Brushes, concealers, a box and all. Please." Camilla continued and Mellisa immediately got swayed, she definitely couldn't say no to that. The dress was literally the latest LV dress, Camilla only wore it once, gifted by LV. The make up? Camilla only used expensive and quality make up so she was gonna have to trust her.

"Sure? But why?" Cai asked his sister. "Well I know that but me and Eu Eu wanted to experience this and because everyone around is single...it's not like we can call Maeve and Ben now is it?" Cai slowly nodded. It wasn't a bad idea but what will happen when Eugene and Camilla start being lovey dovey? The awkward atmosphere? "Okay but there's conditions." He said and turned to his sister "Let's hear them."

"You and Eugene aren't allowed to be too much lovey dovey, you guys aren't allowed to talk about me and Mellisa's love lives. We talk about anything but, and the food is on you." He said and Camilla nodded. "When have you ever paid for a day out Cai? Shut it. Be ready, tonight 7 o'clock sharp. Dad will take care of Cash." Camilla said and walked out.

Cai acted like this date wasn't bothering him, but it was. Did Mellisa agree? Did Camilla have hidden intentions? Did they know about her crush on Mellisa? Why was Camilla doing this? He sighed and started choosing an outfit.

Mellisa looked at herself on the mirror, Fezeka was her stylist, she was dressed in the same dress Camilla gave to her and used the same make up. Eugene, Camilla and Cai were rich kids and she wanted to fit in at least look the part.

The last time she felt such pressure was in uni and even then she fought hard to not be influenced but something about this was different. It's as if her heart didn't allow her to just look like her, it wanted to impress someone. Could it be Eugene?

"Y'all done? Mel baby, the boys are getting impatient. So much for-" she dropped her voice"- take your time, I know women need all the preparation time. My ass." Camilla said and clicked her tongue. Mellisa and Fezeka laughed.

"Yes I'm done. I'll be out in a moment." Mellisa said grabbing her purse, it was the only thing she owned that looked decent. Only because it was a parting gift from her aunt. She had taste.

"Oh my. You look so beautiful omg. Look if you ever need a girlfriend? I'd dump Eugene for you ." Camilla said and Mellisa giggled "Don't be silly. Let's go."

"Wow, wow. Wow. You guys look- damn." Eugene was the first one to notice Camilla and Mellisa. Mellisa's heart sunk, the compliment didn't hit home because it wasn't directed to her but it could have been. He just had to be a liar, "Thank you, thank you." Camilla said and did a twirl. "You guys look so beautiful, Mellisa? I didn't know you could clean up so we'll." Cai said ignoring how fast his heart was beating, his face threatened to become red so he had to lighten up the mood.

Mellisa rolled her eyes. "Shut up Vendedrick." Cai laughed

"Oooh? Second name basis? Y'all move fast." Eugene said and everyone laughed. Mellisa looked at him and immediately got pissed. "Yea we do, it'd be such a shame if he lied about it, that seems to be everyone's MO round here." She said and chuckled, Cai let out a forced and nervous chuckle and cleared his throat .
"Let's go, we made bookings and there's late arrival fees let's go. Damn capitalists, making money off us. You know-" "You're not even paying Cai why are you blabbing?" Camilla asked and started walking. Cai followed her and they started bickering.

"Mel what was that?" Eugene whispered harshly to Mellisa who rolled her eyes in response. "Don't call me that, and talk to me Eugene. Ever." She said and followed Cai and Camilla joining in their bickering.

Eugene was left with a panging heart, if only she knew what was really happening.
