3.

Lisa used to wonder if only clumsy girls found love quickly. In dramas, a clumsy girl would fall or trip and her Mr. Right would be there to save her. And then, they would fall in love.

She used to wonder if this was one of the reasons why she didn't find her soulmate yet. It wasn't like she was in a hurry to find him, yet at the same time she was.

Her friends that were the same age as her were well and happy with their significant other. Yet, Lisa at her young age of 26, could not.

Dissatisfied, she went to a library and climbed up a ladder to ‘get a book’.
After seeing someone come near the aisle she was standing, Lisa mentally prepared herself. She could feel the person coming close to her and there he was! She glanced at the man who was standing behind her, their backs facing each other.

Just by the look of the man's back, she could conclude that he was a handsome man. Taking deep breaths, she let go of the ladder and let herself fall, hoping that the man would catch her.

To her utter dismay, she did not feel any strong, muscular arms around her but rather the hard wood which made contact with the back and head. And if this wasn't enough, her falling on the bookshelves didn't just make it move a little but a book from one of the shelf fell on her head. Thankfully, it was a kids activity book that hit her head or else...

She glanced at the man beside her only to find the most drop-dead gorgeous, beautiful, handsome man staring at her. She felt as if she was bewitched by his beauty.

The man in question, looked at her with regretful eyes. The words that were soon  spoken by him sounded so..clear and appealing. She could listen to his voice all day long.

Snapping out of her reverie, she asked if the stranger could repeat what he said.

I said, I was sorry. I am sorry for not catching you while you fell. I dont have good reflex and think a lot before doing something. Thankfully, the book that hit you wasn't thick.”

What a gentleman! Lisa grinned to herself and thought, ‘How can I be hurt? Your face makes up for all the pain’.

What she didn't expect was for the stranger to leave right after bowing down to her as a form of respect.

Lisa could only stare at his retreating and dreamy back.

It's time

(A/N = I used Lisa in the previous chapter without realising I used fake names for the characters. The change is that there will be no fake names. Sorry!)
