Chapter 1

Lily's POV

"Lily!" Mary called out to me from the top of the stairs.

"Mary!" I mockingly yelled back putting my book down, I know it's only the start of term but I feel I need to be as far ahead in the class as possible, especially now that I'm head girl.

"I have some news,"she said standing in front of me, I go to stand up but she pushes me back down, "It's about James." I lit up at the mention of James, my amazing, beautiful, perfect boyfriend! But Mary's face dose not reflect mine, "Lily, I'm going to tell you something and it's not going to be the best news you have ever heard."

I got scared, did he get hurt, was he killed because of the war, what happened to my boyfriend!? " Lily, the other day, before term, I was walking in Diagon Alley looking for food and I saw James, in an alley, with... " she started shifting in her shoes "With Regulus, by themself...kissing..."

My face fell, no she was playing a prank on me, a really awful prank. I look around the room, looking for James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, anyone! Hoping! Pleading! That this was a prank. But no, no one was in the common room besides me and Mary.

I ran to my room, and locked my self in the bathroom. James, my James, cheated. The boy who always said I was his only person, his favorite person. I looked at my self in the mirror and can't see it, I can't see why James would want to cheat or why he did. I always thought he was the one for me but I guess I was wrong.

Regulus' POV

I knew James was never going to love me as much as he did Lily, I knew what a I was getting into when James asked to meet behind the muggle mall, and I know that James would never want to see me again. But if he didn't love me then why would he keep coming back? If he didn't love me why would he lay in the same bed as me, kiss me like there was no tomorrow, hold me tight as we slept. He had to have felt something if he kept coming back.

But he wouldn't talk to me about it, and I know that for a fact. He had a girlfriend and I'm Sirius' little brother.

But the thing that bugs me most is his girlfriend, Lily. Don't blame me I feel terrible for the thing James did to her but I felt something with James, and I know he felt it too. I canceled all my plans because James and I wanted to be together. I went to his house and we rode a broom to Diagon Alley and it was the best thing I have ever felt. But he was devoted to Lily. I mean all the boys were. With her fluffy red hair and bright green eyes, always wearing her Gryffindor cardigan.

I have always been jealous of Lily Evans.

James' POV

I felt terrible, but can you blame me, Lily was trying to make me jealous on purpose, dancing at the Yule Ball with Snape and I know Dancing Queen was playing and it's her favorite song but she knows I hate dancing with other people, she knows I hate Snape.

I never stopped thinking of her. While I slept in his bed, while we kissed, anything we did, I thought of her.

But he was the one who came back to me saying "James get in let's drive". I was planing on talking to her today after breakfast but I didn't see her.

"Remus have you seen Lily?" I asked as Remus and Mary sat down at the table but neither answered, "Hello?" I asked wondering why they weren't answering me, when Sirius walked in.

"Hey mates!" Sirius said cheerfully and sat down next to me at least he was talking to me.

"Sirius can we talk for a minute?" Remus asked and Sirius had a knowing smile and I rolled my eyes. Sirius nodded and they left.

I ate some toast and made some coffee when they both came back Sirius looked mad, he stormed over to me and started to yell

"HOW DARE YOU GO AND SLEEP WITH MY BROTHER ALL SUMMER AND CHEAT ON LILY! YOU HAD SOMETHING GREAT AND NOW YOU'VE HAD A GREAT RELATIONSHIP AND NOW YOU FUCKED IT UP!" Sirius yelled at me everyone in the hall turned over to see what Sirius was yelling about, but I didn't care I just wanted to know how he found out, well obviously Remus knew and I guess Mary knew too but how have they found out? Which meant Lily knew.

AN: Hey guys hope you like the first chapter of this book also idk if this is in the chapter but other boy is Snape because i didn't know who else to do so yea
