Lily's POV

I have a problem. I was in charms and I looked over at James and he looked distress. I wanted to ask him what was wrong but I couldn't. Physically and Emotionally couldn't ask what was wrong. I wanted to forgive James. I needed to talk to Remus. He always knows how to handle a situation like this.

September 30th

Gryffindor had won the Quidditch match yesterday so the whole of Gryffindor house was hung over. Remus and I were both in the library trying to get over the hangover.

"How are you and Sirius doing?" I asked trying to start a conversation.

"Well last night he told me that we should date and I said I'm taken he ran away crying. So if that gives you an idea." I laughed and turned to face him.

" I think I might take James back." I said out of the blue. It made Remus sober up real quick.

"WHAT!" He yelled which cause the librarian to shush him.

"I think it was just a joke or something. If he really loved Regulus he would have been with him still. But he's not and always try's to get back with me." I said in all seriousness

"Heyyy guys what's upppppp!" Sirius said practically prancing into the room.

"Lily's thinking of taking James back." Remus said annoyed.

"What!!!"

3rd person pov

Regulus and Lily got the same talk that day. Regulus' from Pandora and Evan. Lily's from Sirius and Remus

"He'll only break your heart again. It isn't worth it darling, he's never gonna change! He'll never be Prince Charming, He'll only do you harm again. We don't mean to meddle but the devil doesn't settle. No the devil doesn't bargain!"

James POV

I felt so bad for what I did to both Regulus and Lily. I wanted Lily back but if we didn't get back together I would hurt Regulus. And if I chose Regulus I would hurt Lily. I wanted them both. I loved them both. But in the end I could only have one.

I needed to make up with everyone. The only person I have been actively talking to has been Eliza. Who I have found out can read minds, which wasn't to amazing to find out. I wanted to talk to Sirius. Or Remus. Anybody from our friends group.

I walked into the dorm and saw Remus and Sirius listening to David Bowie on Remus' bed.

"Hey guys." I said carefully sitting down across from them. Silence.

"I wanted to talk about what happened. With Lily and Regulus." I said slowly.

"Then talk to them about it." Remus said standing up and walking out of the room leaving me and Sirius alone.

"Sorry about him mate." Sirius said.

"Listen. I don't care if you never forgive me but I want you to know that I never meant to hurt Reg or Lily. I love them both so bloody much it's unbelievable. I just wanted to make sure we were ok. I miss my best friends. Mainly you." I said turning down the music.

"I miss you too. It was more of a shocked state that for one you cheated on Lily, and for two it was with my brother. I mean I had no idea you were Queer, but I can't be one to judge can I?" He jokingly said gesturing to the state he was currently in.

"I didn't know either. I guess I kinda figured it out when we kissed. But besides that I miss you. You have been my best friend since the first day of school, I want everything to go back to normal." Sirius nodded.

"Samemate. I miss hanging out with everyone and pranking Mcgoogs" we both laughed atthat, "Listen, you might still need to get Remus around to it. But for now... youhave your best friend back." Sirius said standing up and wrapping his armsaround me. I finally had my best friend back.
