THIRD PERSON POV

Wilbur felt more pain inside, how could he hate his daughter? Who was the only person he cared about? But he had to, he was forced to.

He turned to look at his step daughter, and she looked at him with a broken smile.

Wilbur had to look away, he felt the pain inside him grow deeper and deeper. He felt angry at her, he felt his heart break.

But, Wilbur hated her in this moment, he hated her for making this life so hard.

Wilbur's heart felt heavy and full of pain, he hated his daughter, he wished she was never born.

He wanted to scream at her. He wished he could say it to her face, tell her that she ruined his life and his marriage. He wanted to say it to her.

Wilbur's mind rushed with thoughts and emotions, the pain inside him was too much. He felt like he would break at any moment.

Wilbur was confused now.

But he knows that this wouldn't have ever happened if his so known daughter wasn't alive.

He felt stupid for even calling her his daughter. And he felt stupid for wanting to sacrifice for her in the first time. She wants even his child in the first place.

Wilbur hated his daughter now, he would never forgive her. It wasn't her fault, but he couldn't stop hating her.

He felt like crying, and wanted to hug her and apologize for feeling this way. But he knew he couldn't go back. He'd gone too far.

Wilbur didn't know what he was going to do now. He never wanted this to happen. He never wanted to feel this way.

He hated everything about his life now. Most of all, he hated his daughter.

Wilbur fell to his knees, a single tear rolling down his cheek. He felt lost and hopeless.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He had nothing left now. No wife that could support his thoughts, no money, no daughter, what could he possibly do next?

Then, he heard his daughter's voice, it was distant, as if his mind was tricking him.

"I'm sorry, dad." She said. "I'm sorry I made you hate me."

Wilbur could not believe his ears. Was that his daughter's voice? Was he hallucinating?

He heard her continue speaking. "I'm sorry I ruined your life. I'm sorry for everything." She repeated.

Wilbur opened his eyes and looked around, nothing, he could not see her.

"Can you hear me dad?" She said.

Is this real? Wilbur thought to himself.

"Yes, I hear you." Wilbur spoke back.

It was his daughter's voice. She was talking to him in his head. He had to be dreaming, this can't be real.

"Dad, please don't hate me." She said.

"Why are you speaking to me? This isn't real. I hate you, you ruined my life. Why did you do this to me?" He said.

"Yes, it's me. And I'm sorry. Can you just forgive me? Please dad, I love you." She said, with tears in her eyes.
