3rd person pov
Lilyan was sent to a mean social worker who didn't care about her situation and treated her with indifference. The social worker questioned her about her family and life but did not show any sympathy or understanding.

Lilyan was still scared and anxious, but she had no other options. She was dependent on the social worker and had to follow her instructions regardless of how mean she was.

The social worker asked Lilyan why she had not told the police about her situation. When Lilyan explained that she was afraid of her mother, the social worker scoffed at her and said, "You don't have to be afraid of anyone, you're just a weak and pathetic girl"

Lilyan felt shamed and humiliated by the social worker's cruel words. She felt even worse than before and started to believe what the social worker had said about her.

The social worker continued to harass Lilyan. She made hurtful and rude comments, ridiculing and mocking her at every opportunity. She made remarks about her appearance, her clothes, and her inability to stand up for herself.

Lilyan felt trapped and wanted to stand up for herself, but she was too scared and anxious to confront the mean social worker.

She just kept silent and tried to ignore the social worker's mean words as much as she could.

Suddenly, one of the cops walked into the room and the mean social worker instantly changed her behavior. She became friendly and compassionate, saying nice things to Lilyan and promising to help her.

Lilyan was confused by the social worker's sudden change in behavior. She didn't understand why the social worker had suddenly become nice and sympathetic, when just minutes before she had been so cruel and hurtful.

The social worker continued to act nice and friendly to Lilyan in front of the cop. She spoke softly and kindly to Lilyan, and made it seem like she was really concerned for her wellbeing. However, Lilyan doubted the social worker's intentions.

Lilyan couldn't understand how the social worker's attitude could change so drastically within a matter of minutes. She wondered if the social worker was truly being nice and sympathetic, or if she was just pretending to be nice and caring to impress the cop.

The cop looked at Lilyan with a concerned expression. "Lilyan, we need to take a blood sample from you so we can find your other parent and reunite you with him."

Lilyan was confused by the cop's words. She had never met her real father before and had always lived with her step dad and mother. Why was the cop suddenly talking about her real parent? Is he trying to get rid of her? She felt suspicious and reluctant to give her blood sample.

Lilyan felt more confused and nervous. She tried to explain to the cop that she had Wilbur and her mother, and that they were her real parents. But the cop did not listen and kept reassuring her that her mother and Wilbur hurt her and so could not send her back to live with them. He said they would look for a relative who could take care of her instead.

Lilyan was scared and upset. She felt like she was being stripped off from her parents, and was not sure where she was going next.

The cop left the room and the social worker resumed her mean behavior. She started to mock Lilyan for missing Wilbur and her mother, who had hurt her instead of loving and taking care of her.

Lilyan felt hurt and humiliated by the social worker's words. She felt like she was not being taken seriously and that her trauma and worries were not being considered. She started to doubt herself and wonder if she was wrong to have feelings for Wilbur and her mother, who had abused her in the past.
