chapter 9

Lilyan and the social worker step outside the private jet. One of the guys came towards lilyan and her social worker.

Then he introduces himself. Giovanni, Lilyan's warm and kind uncle, offers to help her with the bags. After helping Lilyan to put her bags in the car, Giovanni tells her she is his niece and that he is excited to meet her. And then he pointed to the car where the old man was sitting and told her that he was her grandfather.

At the same time, Lilyan is feeling nervous and anxious about meeting her stern looking grandfather that is already seated in the car. The grandfather is an imposing and intimidating figure who is silent and cold towards Lilyan. Lilyan is overwhelmed by all the emotions she is feeling right.

Lilyan and Giovanni are in the back seat of the car with her grandfather. They see the social worker getting into another car and leaving.

Lilyan starts to worry and wonder where her father is and why he has not come to pick her up. She doesn't know what the plan is and is anxious to find out what these men have in store for her.

Lilyan turns to the grandfather and asks, "Where is my father? And my twin sister? Are they here in the house?"

The grandfather answers her coldly and says, "your father is busy. And your twin sister doesn't know that you exist."

Lilyan is shocked to hear these words from her grandfather and starts to get worried and anxious. She is not sure how to react to this, and she feels like her whole life has been turned upside down. She doesn't know what the grandfather meant when he said that her twin sister doesn't know that she exists, but she is starting to get scared and wants the truth.

Lilyan looks to Giovanni, hoping that he will come to the rescue and explain what the grandfather meant. But Giovanni just looks at her with a sad expression and says nothing.

The car starts up and begins its drive towards the destination. Nothing is said and silence fills the car. Lilyan is feeling uneasy and nervous, and wonders what will happen next.

As the car drives through the city and along the roads, the tension in the car builds up slowly. Nobody says anything and the silence is starting to make Lilyan uncomfortable. She wants to break the silence and try to talk to Giovanni or the grandfather, but she doesn't know what to say or how to start.

Lilyan starts to get more and more anxious and nervous, trying to think of a way to get a conversation going. She feels like something important is about to happen and she better be prepared for it. She is trying to make sense of what is going on and who these men are.

Lilyan, Giovanni, and the grandfather arrive at a really big and huge mansion. But when they get out of the car and start walking towards the mansion, Lilyan's anxiety increases in her chest. She starts to get really scared and worried.

She remembers the words her grandfather said to her in the car, and she can't stop thinking about them. What if they end up hurting her? She is really scared and tries to calm herself down, but she can't stop feeling nervous and anxious.

Lilyan, Giovanni, and the grandfather approach the big and huge mansion. Nobody says anything for a while, and they just walk towards the door.

Lilyan and Giovanni step inside the mansion. As they walk past the grand doors, they see the grandfather calling out, "Boys come here, she's with me!"

Lilyan looks back in surprise and see a bunch of men coming towards them.

Lilyan noticed that there was 4 tall and scary men standing there, smiling at them. But two of them don't seem to like Lilyan, and give her a dirty look. Lilyan seemed a little scared and uncomfortable, but they try their best to smile and make a good impression.

Lilyan looks at the other two men and feels a bit relieved that they seem to be friendly. But she is still a little nervous and anxious, she doesn't know what to expect or why these men are here.

Giovanni introduces the men to Lilyan as his brothers.

The oldest brother, Lorenzo, is a bit cold and welcoming. He shakes hands with Lilyan and greets her, but he seems a bit reserved and doesn't say too much.

Stefano is the second oldest brother and he glares at Lilyan as he greets her. He seems to give her a dirty look but tries to look friendly as Giovanni introduces him to Lilyan.

Giovanni is the third oldest brother and he is already known to Lilyan. He smiles and greets Lilyan as he introduces his younger twin brothers Liam and Silas.

Liam, the nicer twin, is welcoming to Lilyan and greets her nicely as he introduces himself to her.

Silas, on the other hand, gives Lilyan a dirty look and doesn't greet her.

Lilyan looks over at Silas and sees that he is not saying hello or smiling or anything.

"Silas, please be nice to your niece," says the oldest uncle Lorenzo to Silas, "Or you'll get in trouble."

Silas mumbles under his breath, "You'll never replace Lora," and doesn't say anything else.

Lilyan is sitting at the long dinner table with the rest of her extended family waiting for the food. She is between her uncle Silas on one side and Stefano on the other side.

Lilyan hears her uncle Silas whispering mean things to her under his breath while smiling and laughing with the rest of the group. She hears him say, "You won't replace her, Lora,"

And then uncle Stefano whispered "You are not wanted here."

As Lilyan sits between the two uncles, she listens to both of them whispering mean things to her and saying she will never replace her twin sister. She starts to feel a little overwhelmed and discouraged. She can't understand why these men are treating her with so much hostility and why they don't want her here. She doesn't know what to do or say to make them treat her nicer.

Lilyan just sits there silently, feeling a bit isolated from the rest of the family. She can't wait for the dinner to be over so she can go to her room.

As Lilyan continues to feel overwhelmed by the hostility and mean words from Silas and Stefano, she feels like she wants to cry but fights back her tears. She doesn't want to make a scene and make things worse, so she tries to stay calm and keep quiet.

She listens as the rest of the family continues talking and laughing, feeling more and more lonely and left out.

Lilyan sits quietly at the dinner table, overhearing the mean words from Silas and Stefano. She starts to think about her father and her twin sister Lora.

Lilyan wonders where her father is and why he didn't come to meet her at the airport earlier. She wonders why her twin sister Lora isn't here with her and feels lonely and lost. She wonders how different her life could have been if things were different.

She feels overwhelmed and alone, and wishes she had someone to talk to and feel like she belongs. She wonders if there will ever be a place for her here.

Btw sry for not updating i was in vacation and I wanted to enjoy every second of it! But now I'm in the plane back home that's why I wrote this.

Sry it's shorter than usual but I promise that I'll try to post another chapter this week.
