Chapter 10

Y/N Pov:

Not long we arrived at the Cameron's home. As Rafe was helping me out of the car, I noticed he had a black eye. Did ward hit him? I didn't know ward was like that. well technically I've only met ward once so maybe he was just acting nice as a cover up. I'll have to ask Rafe about it later.

"Are you ok?" Rafe asks looking at me as he helps me out of the car bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Oh yeah I'm fine" I say slightly smiling at him truing to act like I'm not worried. Once I got out of the car Rafe and I walked to the door of the house opening it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Sarah jumping into my arms.

"Y/N I MISSED YOU. ARE YOU OK. TELL ME EVERYTHING" she yells pulling away from me. I slightly giggled at how happy she was to see me.

"I'm ok Sar. I just need to rest. I'll be fine" I say looking at her. after saying that i heard someone walking towards us.

It was Ward.

Rafe was standing next to me, and I could tell he was getting tense, so I grabbed his hand, holding it. I wish Ward wasn't here. I know he gave Rafe the black eye.

"Y/n, hi" Ward says walking over to me hugging me making me disconnect my hand from Rafe's.

"Hi Mrs. Cameron" I say as reconnecting my hand with Rafe's as Ward pulls away.

"How are you feeling sweetie" Ward says looking at me. God, I wish he would leave. Someone please save me.

"I'm doing ok" I say with a blank expression.

"Well Y/n has to get some rest so I'm going to take her upstairs. Bye dad. Bye Sarah" Rafe says dragging me up the stairs saving me from his dad.

Once we got upstairs, we quickly ran to Rafe's room. Once we got into Rafe's room, he quickly grabbed me clothes to change into and walked out of the room. I quickly changed then waited for Rafe in the room. I wanted to talk to him about his eye. not long after that he walked back into the room. he looked tense again.

"Rafe what's wrong. and what happened to your eye?" I say to him as I stand up and walk over to him setting my hand on his cheek looking up at him.

"Nothing" he says showing no emotion towards me. Something must've happened with ward again.

"Rafe tell me what's wrong" I beg him. He needs to tell me what's wrong instead of bottling it all up.

"I said it nothing Y/n. leave it alone" Rafe said. I could tell he was getting mad. so, I slowly backed away from him. which I ended up against the wall.

"Rafe just tell me. I know something happened with ward. I know he's the reason you have that black eye." I spoke.

"I said it was nothing" he yells throwing his fist into the wall next to me. once he pulled his hand out of the walls, he looked at me with regret and sorrow inhis eyes.

"Rafe-" I said before Rafe cut me off.

"Y/n I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry please forgive me. Did I hurt you? Are you ok? Nothing from the wall got in your cuts, right?" Rafe says grabbing my face and wrists making sure they were ok.

"Rafe, I'm ok, its ok" I said to him, but he ignored me still trying to make sure I was ok. " Rafe, I said I'm ok, Alright?" I said as I put my hand on his cheek making him look me in the eye. "It's ok"

"I'm sorry" he said breaking down putting his head in the crook of my neck.

"It's ok, I love you" I say to him. after that I took him to his bed to sit down and comfort him. which I sat there for about 30 minutes doing. Once Rafe calmed down, we ended up just lying there facing each other's enjoy the others presence.
