Matthew 7:13 - "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.

The free feeling of falling floods in to Ava as she travelled to an endless void. "Am I floating? Probably. Dreaming usually consist of that situation. Or probably this is the real death? I can't be sure. Her consciousness wheel in and out from her head. Her whole body was aching everywhere as shards of Divinium cover the entirety of her front that makes breathing hard for her. The Divinium might have damaged her lungs, the beating of her heart echoes on her head like a slow ticking clock. Ava felt she landed somehow after some eternity to a cold surface not too long she heard some sounds of crisp flapping. Are those wings she can't be sure. Being dead the first time seems like a black out state for her. So this might be it, the real one. Or this is just on her head? The pain was excruciating maybe this is it. Ava sulk in as everything was too late to be saved, including herself. The last thing she would remember if she would still exist somewhere was a pair of teary chestnut eyes as she let go of her. Yes those, her eyes. Beatrice's.

"Beatrice!" Ava yelled as she jumped up on her wake. Series of air grasping can be heard as Ava opened her eyes to another unfamiliar place. As her breathing became manageable that's the time she fully takes in her surroundings. She found herself on a white bed, on a place she certainly doesn't recognize. Being transported to the Arc brought her here. Where exactly she can't be sure, unless someone may be there that she can start to interrogate it with. Waking up to different places seems a usual occasion to her on the past months now. One time was when she knew she was dead but later on found a circular object embedded to her back right after the running everywhere just to protect it. Ava subconsciously tapped her back feeling the Halo's mark confirming it was still there.

The place is new but the feelings are quite familiar. She tried to focus despite the ringing sound on her head. Right then in a blink of an eye what have happened on the recent flew back to her without too much thought.

Being blasted by the Divinium, that's on her own doings. Adriel not suffering any fatal damage from it unlike she did. Seeing Reya being pulled from the Arc. Calling those monstrous Tarasks. Adriel dead. Cursing the pain she felt from the Divinium. Being carried to the Arc by Lilith and her. Telling her that she loved her knowing that all was too late. Her teary face, how it hurts her for seeing her like that. Ava cursed thinking she should have told her earlier. "I should have told her, how I truly felt sooner so I could repeat those words to her a millionth time. Let her know that it would be fine as long as the two of us are together. Ava's mind feels like going to burst from all she was recalling. Her breathing began to labour as panic and anxiety ignite on her. But right now it was not the case anymore. She will be safe there, Beatrice. Without her, Ava concluded because all along wherever there is a warrior nun, death comes tagging along. And Beatrice has so much life to live with who can she be to sacrifice all that. She'll be safe now, Ava managed to convince herself But fuck this, I already missed her was all her thoughts sing. Anxiety threatens to take over Ava once again as the reality hit her. She can never be with Beatrice anymore. Laboured breathing and tears came rushing like a waterfall. The pain from the Divinium bomb were all gone but the ache on her heart hurt more than anything the Halo-bearer had ever had.

"Glad you're awake now." A young woman appeared from the door unannounced. She was observing Ava's demeanour earlier for a little while now without the Warrior Nun's notice. Serina took a step forward not taking her eyes off on the girl Reya cannot stop talking about. In a swift glance, she can't say this young girl will make a good impression. There was nothing special to her aside from the fact that she has one of the Halo placed on her back, the one Adriel denied from his crime and hateful acts. As one of the highest servant of Reya, she never have the same ambitious dreams like him, though she herself a lot of questions to the way She commands them. Now, that this girl from the other side has managed to step on this realm, she herself has no concrete notion what Her plans maybe She had for this girl.
